Evening, patrons!

It's been a somewhat quiet week here as I've got a few things cookin' and have been focusing on commissions as well. As many of you know, this past Monday was the 25th anniversary of Sega's beloved Dreamcast console, and I wanted to do a tribute but certainly wasn't able to get something ready in time. Pity, but what'll ya do. I'm sadly bound to the flow of time like the rest of us, loathe as I am to admit it.

I'm leaning further into that thin "anime" line for this one and I'm really liking how it's looking! I'm working in Adobe Illustrator and miiiight color it in the program too, but also might color it in Clip Studio paint, I'm not sure yet. Full vector or take it over into raster? Decisions, decisions. I just know I want to do bold cel-shading and really rich colors. It's gonna be purdy.

Just so you know, this was originally just supposed to be a cute Wednesday doodle but I liked the sketch so much that I just HAD to take it to final. I'm happy with it so far and can't wait to have it all finished. (I'll certainly show you the sketch - pretty different than the inks, you'll find - when I post the finished version of the artwork.)

In unrelated news, "Scary Movies" won the October sticker poll. I have a thumbnail for an idea that I think is cute, but I'll show you that when it's ready. I might even have a clean sketch ready for tomorrow, Friday the 13th (so spooookyyyy)! We shall see. Anyway, it'll be a fun sticker, I'm certain of it.
