Ruby blinked. She had just been in an elevator when her surroundings changed. Yellow carpet and walls with yellow wallpaper filled her vision as fluorescent lights buzzed overhead. None of this made sense.
She eventually looked over her shoulder. Her friends were gone, and the hallway extended off in that direction. Every few feet, there was an opening. Ruby looked through these only to see more of the same. Rooms of varying sizes with the same carpet and wallpaper. Some were longer hallways, some were dead ends, and eventually, it opened up into a greater maze. Now, she could see the occasional pillar and dozens of hallways that branched in all directions.
“Hello?” Ruby called. It was the only thing she could think of saying. If her friends were here, then hopefully, they would hear her. Honestly, anyone reacting would be nice. She sighed and started to walk further. She stayed in the larger, open area. She could use pillars as sources for reference. It was better than wandering off aimlessly. If she started taking different paths, she would end up hopelessly lost.
It was after ten minutes of exploring that a new stimulus broke up the constant drone of the lights. It was a smell. A warm, delicate smell that ticked Ruby’s nose. Another deep sniff confirmed they were cookies.
Ruby didn’t question why there were cookies in this nonsensical place. She just realized she was famished and acted on that. The smell came from one of the offshoot hallways, and Ruby reasoned it was OK to enter. She wouldn’t wander too far.
The young woman stepped into the offshoot and spotted a plate of cookies. The smell was more intense and caused her stomach to growl. She approached the plate and looked around nervously. There wasn’t a soul in sight—just more hallways and passages. Ruby grabbed one cookie and took a bite. They were soft and chewy, the chocolate chips warm enough to have melted. Since one was incredibly good, Ruby had another. Then another. Ruby continued to eat the cookies in quick succession, even holding one in each hand at a point.
As Ruby devoured the cookies, her stomach expanded. A soft layer of pudge began to develop beneath her corset. The strings of the garment strained tighter, but there was enough slack that the new curve of Ruby’s stomach was visible. The curve became more pronounced and progressed from a paunch to a full potbelly.
“Ruby?”
“EEP!” Ruby squealed in surprise, throwing the last cookie into the air. She spun on her heels and spotted Weiss. The two stared at each other briefly before Weiss’s eyes dropped to Ruby’s stomach, and Ruby’s eyes snapped to the cookie she had tossed. Her hands tried to snatch it, but Weiss, somehow grabbed it first.
Weiss’s expression went from confused to displeased. “Honestly, I land in this strange place, look tirelessly for you, and I find you eating cookies.” She shook her head in disappointment and walked over to Ruby. She poked Ruby’s stomach with one lithe finger and frowned. “I told you your diet would result in this. How do you expect to be a huntress with a stomach like this?”
“Stop poking my tummy!” Ruby smacked at Weiss’s hand while simultaneously reaching for the cookie in her other hand. “W-wait! We need to figure out where we are!” Ruby snapped back to her senses. “We were in the elevator, then I was in a hallway!”
“I remember. You and Yang kept pressing buttons. Then I blinked, and I was in one of these rooms. I started to investigate and explore until I smelled cookies. I assumed that scent would lead me to you, and I wasn’t disappointed.” Weiss explained.
Ruby pouted. “Just because you smell cookies doesn’t mean it’s me.” She said, looking at Weiss’s deadpan expression. “Fair enough. I assume you haven’t seen Yang or Blake yet?”
Weiss shook her head. “I only just started looking an hour ago, but that hardly matters with how big this place seemingly is. You’re the first I found, so if you’re done eating let’s think of a way to find them or a way out.”
——
Yang scratched her head and looked around her. “Well, I’m lost.” She sighed and continued to turn in a circle. It hardly meant anything when every direction looked the same. Hallways, corners, rooms, light, walls, carpet, burgers…
“Burgers?” Yang murmured. They had not been there a second ago. The previously empty space now had a small table stacked with burgers. “They smell good…” She sniffed and took a cautionary bite. The flavor was good. Juicy beef, melted cheese, and a tangy burger sauce. “These remind me of that one spot…damn, what was it called again?” She wracked her brain for the name of the restaurant. It was a burger place that popped up out of nowhere one day. The labored thinking enhanced her appetite, so Yang continued to chew away at the burgers. One, two, and eventually three vanished down her throat. Each caused her stomach to distend further and soften in texture. Her toned stomach had already been replaced by a soft lump of fat that curled over the waistband of her shorts. Yang didn’t notice or care as the burger’s taste only got better as she went.
Yang only stopped when she swore she saw something. A quick-moving shadow. She looked in the direction it went and froze. In the distance, maybe over a hundred feet away… It was something peeking around a corner. There was a white chef hat and a face, but it wasn’t human. It was some sort of mascot head. “What the…” Yang murmured before a hand touched her shoulder. She whirled around and spotted, “Blake?”
Blake stared at Yang. “Are you ok? Sorry if I startled you, but you weren’t responding to me.” She crossed her arms nonchalantly and looked in the direction Yang had.
The blonde looked back, but whatever had been there was gone. “I uh…I thought I saw something. Maybe this place is just getting to my head.”
“Or your stomach,” Blake replied and poked Yang’s stomach. The pudge was soft and yielding, morphing around the tip of her finger. “I suppose it doesn’t matter. I’m sort of hungry, too. I’ve been wandering for over an hour.”
Yang was still flustered from what she thought she saw. She shook her head. “Yeah, this place makes no sense. I worked up an appetite and just started eating the first thing I found.” She laughed, a twinge of embarrassment seeping int. “Have you found Ruby or Weiss? If the two of us landed in this place, then I bet they did, too.”
Blake shook her head. “I haven’t seen anyone else yet. This place just hallways.” She closed her eyes and appeared to concentrate. “It’s hard to hear when these lights won’t stop buzzing. I barely heard you.”
“Yeah, I guess your ears aren’t as good with all the background noise, huh.” Yang looked to Blake’s cat ears. They usually picked up all sorts of things that the rest of the team would miss. “But there’s still a chance you could pick up Ruby or Weiss?”
“Definitely, let’s get going. That hall over there leads to a much more open space.” Blake turned to move.
Yang, however, looked back in the direction from earlier. She swore she saw something. There was the chance this place was occupied by someone other than themselves or their friends.
“Yang?”
The blonde turned with a start. Blake was looking back at her. “Yeah, sorry, I’m coming.” She replied and hot-footed it after Blake, unaware of the figure that peeked around a corner once more, closer than it had been last time.
The pair stopped when they entered the open area. It truly made little sense, but it could be compared to a river. It was a broader area that seemed to continue in a line, with the left and right stretching into the distance. It was interrupted by narrower hallways that branched off like smaller streams. Then, there were the pillars in the center—simply a square formed by the walls as if it was supposed to be a room. There were no doors, though.
“This place is just nonsense. There’s no way someone built all this, right?” Yang asked and turned to Blake. It was the other girl’s turn to stare off into space. Yang nudged her before she followed Blake’s gaze. There was a table overburdened with burgers. It seemed half had beef patties, and half had fish patties. “Were those there before you found me?”
“No,” Blake replied before her stomach growled. “Sorry, I’ve been hungry for a while now.” She sighed and clutched her stomach. An intense wave of hunger slammed into her like a wave. This was more akin to starvation than simple appetite.
Yet somehow, Yang’s stomach growled louder. She blushed and looked away, feeling Blake’s eyes snap to her. “I can explain THAT just as easily as we can explain THIS.” She gestured all around her.
“Fair.” Blake walked over to the table and sniffed one of the fish burgers. It only made her stomach growl louder. “I won’t be able to focus until I eat something. Stop me at two.” She took a bite and almost mewled. A tender fish filet surrounded by a crunchy crust with a tangy tartar sauce. The bread was so fluffy and buttery that she couldn’t resist a quick second bite.
Yang approached the other side of the table and picked up a burger. These were bigger than the ones she had earlier. The smell of grease was more intense, too. ‘What was that place’s name?’ She tried to think of the restaurant name that eluded her. With no progress, she decided to simply eat. She bit into the burger and relished the relief that came with a small flood of grease. Her stomach ceased its aching and groaned contently.
Thus Blake and Yang put off their worries in order to sate themselves. The first burgers were followed by a second, but Yang forgot to announce that. They had already moved on to the third and fourth burgers. Blake’s stomach quickly rounded and swelled like Yang’s had, while Yang’s continued a slight lead. Their stomachs eventually began to soften and sag gently over their waistbands. Yang’s took on a slight wave toward the middle that looked like it would blossom into a fold. Blake’s, however, remained smooth and rounded like a flesh-colored dome.
Minutes passed, and the girls continued to swell. Their hips began to expand, their backsides softened, more mass crept across their chests, thighs thickened, arms bulged, and love handles formed. They still didn’t care. They were utterly enthralled in eating, unaware of the figure watching from the distance.
——
Weiss and Ruby had returned to the central area. They stayed quiet momentarily, just in case they could pick up any sounds. Unfortunately, they only heard the buzzing lights.
"We can't just wander aimlessly. It would be nice if I had something to mark our path.” Weiss murmured and rubbed her chin.
Ruby nodded. Their surroundings were an infinite maze, so going about without a plan was the worst thing to do. That was when Ruby started sniffing the air. Relying on sound wasn't possible for them. However, smells seem to travel well here. She took deep breaths and picked up a sweet scent. Without saying anything, she grabbed Weiss's hand and followed the scent.
Weiss didn't protest, deciding to trust Rudy. The two continued without leaving the central area. They eventually came upon a table heavily laden with sweets. One side was covered in a mountain of cookies, and the other housed tiered cakes.
"It's something, but not what I had hoped for," Weiss grumbled and rubbed the bridge of her nose. Her stomach began to growl, too. The rumbling was so loud that it drowned out any thought she tried to conjure. “These all look fresh. Was it like this when you found the cookies earlier?"
"Let me see," Ruby said, taking a tentative bite from one of the cookies. After which, she nodded. "Yep, they're just as fresh as the last ones." She finished off the cookie and reached for another.
All of the thinking and planning left Weiss craving sugar. It was against her better judgment, but she grabbed one slice of cake and bit into it. It was a traditional white cake with creamy frosting. The cake was moist and surprisingly satisfying. Weiss had never eaten cake when she was ‘hungry,’ but these soothed the roar from her stomach.
They continued to eat. Multiple cookies, multiple slices of cake, and the easy lowering of their guard. It was like they wouldn't be able to think straight until they filled their stomachs. Even Ruby, who had just eaten a plate of cookies, craved more.
The sweets quickly made their presence known on the girls' waistlines. Ruby's form continued to fill outward, the rush of new rush calories finding their home on her hips. They slowly filled outward, inch by inch, as her skirt stretched and fat bulged over the waistband. Meanwhile, her butt cheeks swelled like Jell-O-filled balloons and sagged far enough that her skirt failed to cover them entirely. She was either unaware or uncaring of this and focused on snacking.
Her thighs filled outward into puffy pillars. They thickened and soon started to squish together. This gradually furthered until she was forced to move her feet further apart. This widened stance allowed her to lean further over the table. She propped herself up on her elbows, thus giving her hands less distance to cross to stuff her face. Nimble fingers grabbed cookies and stuffed them into her mouth every other second. The improved pace only enhanced the rate of her growth. Ruby practically inhaled the cookies. Her belly sagged further, grew thicker, and widened in sync with her hips. Her chest garnered some of the growth, with fuller breasts managing to squish against the table. Soon, her arms thickened, and their undersides developed fleshy bingo wings. Her forearms grew slower, but they still gained a thickened sheath of fat.
Weiss’s body filled out differently. Her belly quickly surpassed Ruby’s in size. However, it remained round and stretched the fabric of her dress, which further accented the nearly spherical shape. Her hips grew wider, but they never reached the girth of Ruby’s. Despite that, they helped support a round and springy rear. It boasted more volume and perk than Ruby’s, even with its restrained size. The curves neatly flowed and tucked in a way that fit her aesthetics perfectly. Weiss might disagree with that, but anyone who appreciated plump posteriors would.
Her thighs became more broad and squished together, similar to Ruby’s. It was a given as there was hardly a gap between them, to begin with. The inner sides stretched until they gently kissed together. The outsides took on a more broad curve that remained consistent and smooth until it tucked above her knee. Her arms were still mostly slender, but fat gradually accumulated. It was a slow and steady increase that simply lagged behind her belly.
Something that lagged more than all…was Weiss’s chest. Minimal increase was a generous way to say it. Abysmal, by comparison, was more accurate. There was no visible change to Weiss’s chest. None at all. Her face had an extra curve to it. Her cheeks were fuller, and she had the beginning of a second chin. Her chest, though? Nothing at all.
“EEP!” Ruby suddenly shrieked and stood up straight. This caused her gut to swing upward, clipping the table’s edge. The entire table flipped, and the remaining food hit the ground.
Weiss choked in surprise and began to cough. “Wh-what is wrong with you?! Don’t scream like that all of a sudden!” She exclaimed after she stopped coughing.
“I thought I heard something! I forgot how creepy this place is!” Ruby looked around rapidly. She had sworn she heard some sort of noise. Now she just heard the buzzing lights until-
Weiss shrieked. She looked down at herself and saw how much weight she had gained. She had been lithe and slender as always a few moments ago. Now she looked ridiculous, a picturesque glutton! “How did this happen? We couldn’t have eaten that much!” She looked at Ruby and shamefully felt relieved she wasn’t as fat as her friend.
Ruby blinked and looked down at herself. Her chest filled much more of her view than she remembered. Her breasts were more prominent than Yang’s by a few sizes, but she had already started to look toward her belly. It was much fluffier, reached further, and sagged lower than it had after her first cookie binge. She blushed and felt a nervous sweat build on her. “Eheh…guess we got carried away?”
Weiss immediately snatched Ruby by the shoulders. Her hands were just as full of fat as fabric as she violently shook her friend. “How are you so calm about this?! We are lost in this place, and we are FAT! Don’t you understand how dangerous it is when we lose control of ourselves at the mere sight of food?!”
“Gah, stop shaking me, I get it, I get it this is bad! H-hey OW, stop pinching my rolls! I’m gonna pinch you back!” Ruby exclaimed. She couldn’t think of any proper response with Weiss shaking her. So, she reached out and pinched Weiss’s belly.
Weiss yelped and leaped back, only to collide with something soft. She froze and slowly looked up to see amber eyes and cat ears. “B-Blake?”
“Yes,” Blake blinked plainly in response. She had just rounded the corner, drawn by the noise. This put her in Weiss’s trajectory, and her friend rested against her chest and belly. It was soft and supple, readily allowing Weiss to sink into it.
Weiss ignored that until she righted herself and turned around. That was when she realized that Blake was much larger than her. Saying Blake weighed twice as much as Weiss was quite close to reality. The heiress balked at her friend and the sheer size disparity. The difference between them and Blake the last time she saw her. “I…uh…”
Blake’s mass and silhouette seemed very uncharacteristic for her. The idea that she had lost control and glutted herself to this state was even more bizarre to Weiss. Yet, she had done just that. Her stomach was heavy and slightly flabby. Curves would begin, waver, and gently tuck. This wasn’t enough to form a roll, but a subtle outline of a mound formed before the next curve began. This made her belly appear lumpy as it protruded and sagged over her waist and nearly to her knees. Her hips exceeded the width of her belly as they filled outward in a similarly lumpy shape. They stretched her pants, and some fat rolled over her waistband. The rest constantly strained the fabric as it tried to compress and fit the excessive fat. Even then, the fat wrapped around and melded into an overly plump rear and supple thighs in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Her butt was broad and shared a similar wave as to her belly. Not entirely round, but only slightly flabby. This also continued with her thighs. They were so broad that their combined width was enough to clog any single doorways around them. They were segmented into multiple waves and gradually thinned past her knees and finally at her ankles.
Blake’s upper body was also packed with fat. Her breasts had swollen to twice the size of her head, and her arms were plump and doughy. There was no hiding that her top was ready to burst, but it at least managed to cover her delicate areas. That was more than enough for now.
Blake’s round cheeks flushed. “Yeah…” The moment was just as awkward for Blake as it was for Weiss. She didn’t have any excuses. She had gotten carried away with the fish burgers and eaten herself to this obese state.
But she wasn’t the only one.
Huffing and puffing, Yang followed from around the corner. “Wheeze…jeez, you’re faster than you should be. What the…rush?” Yang had to lean and crane her neck to see around Blake’s bulk. Her eyes lit up as she saw her younger sister. “Ruby!” She exclaimed and rushed forward like a raging bull. Ruby only had time to yelp before she was seized and hugged by her substantially fatter sister.
“Gah, why do people keep grabbing me?! Yang, I can’t breathe!” Ruby exclaimed as Yang’s hug inadvertently stuffed Ruby’s face between her breasts. The giant lumps of fat conformed to the shape of Ruby’s face and made breathing around them difficult. Words failed to save her, so she resorted to pinches and slaps.
Which also failed her.
Yang was slightly heavier than Blake, which meant she was possibly more than double Weiss and Ruby’s weight. At the forefront of her bulk was a sizable belly that hung lower than Blake’s. It also maintained a more consistent curve along its edge. It sloped smoothly from her love handles, where it curved outward before tucking beneath her belly button. Like Blake’s stomach, a rounder lump was nestled beneath her chest before a slight outward curve formed a larger lower mass. It wasn’t a double belly divided by a solid roll, but there was an unmistakable shift from bulbous fat to looser flab. It was like an overstuffed beanbag chair had been affixed to her abdomen, diminishing any idea that toned abs used to be there. It was a gut that should have belonged to a lifelong glutton and dedicated fat ass instead of a huntress in training.
Something that was less out of place on Yang’s body were her breasts. They had always been exceptional in size and shape, but now they were three times the size of her head, and her top was dedicated entirely to covering them. They were heavy enough to sink into the top of her belly, and their supple texture was visible in how her breasts folded over the hem of her top.
Both of these assets pressed against Ruby. Yang’s larger belly easily morphed around Ruby, while her younger sister’s head was sandwiched between her breasts. Such squishing was possible thanks to Yang’s meaty arms. Each boasted sagging, flabby underarms and a fat cap that buried previously existing biceps. Even her forearms had taken on a comedically puffy appearance.
Yang’s lower body was incredibly thick and padded, but not to the degree that Blake’s was. There was the curved lump of her hips, the bulbous roundness of her thighs, and the thickened stretch beneath her knee to her ankles. Yet this was less supple than Blake’s. This continued to Yang’s butt which was sizable but more compact. Whereas Blake had broad and sagging cheeks, Yang’s were only broad. The padding was there, but lacked the distinct wobble and soft-looking curves.
Yang eventually let go on her own. She let Ruby slide over the curve of her belly but kept her hands on the girl’s shoulders. “Phew, that takes the weight off my shoulders. Now that I know you’re safe, I bet we can work together to find a way out of here!”
“Hold on a second!” Weiss exclaimed. Team reunion aside, none of their current issues were solved. “I was just explaining-“
“Yelling,” Ruby cut in.
“-To Ruby that we can’t treat this place lightly! The food here causes us to gain weight rapidly, and you two are the perfect example of why I’m concerned!” Weiss pointed from Blake to Yang. Blake was still flustered, and even Yang chuckled nervously as she rubbed the back of her head. Both were far fatter than Weiss and Ruby, and an explanation was warranted. Weiss just hoped there was some reason opposed to simply ‘eating too much.’
“We ate too much,” Yang replied. She saw Weiss’s eye twitch and quickly raised her arms. “I know that’s a bad answer, but it’s true! I ate some burgers, ran into Blake, and then another table full of them just appeared! We couldn’t think on an empty stomach, so we decided to fill up!” Sweat ran down Yang’s brow. “And we uh…got carried away. Didn’t stop until something spooked me, and I belly flopped on the table.”
That last part placated Weiss. “Something startled you, you knocked over the table, and only then did you stop eating.” She rubbed her chin and hummed in thought.
“That’s what happened with us, too! Except I was the one who knocked the table over. I doubt I could have stopped myself if I didn’t.” Ruby exclaimed.
The group was silent for a moment. They might have reunited, but their situation was still dire. Food could appear around any corner, and they would feel compelled to eat it. Any further incidents could make them too fat to search for an exit. It wasn’t hard to imagine a doomed fate where they would be too fat to move. They would likely eat endlessly, clogging the winding halls of this unsettling maze. They would become so helplessly obese that there would be no hope of escape.
Blake was the first to speak. “Since we’re together now, we can work together to find an escape. Maybe we can afford to split up just a little?” She suggested and gestured toward the various doorways. She ignored how her arm fat wobbled and continued her idea. “These rooms are either dead ends or lead into another room. I’ll stay in this central hallway, and you three can look into these extra rooms. I’ll be able to hear if anyone starts eating, so I can shout to snap you out of it.”
Weiss pursed her lips. The plan was good, but it hinged on Blake staying aware. “Let’s also limit our time apart to thirty seconds. We can’t afford to wander off or leave you alone too long.”
The rest of the girls agreed, and they began their plan. They slowly waddled down the central corridor, stopping so Weiss, Yang, and Ruby could peek into the branching halls. Some were indeed dead ends, some contained food that was almost eaten, but most branched into further hallways. The group deemed those too dangerous to follow. They had no way to mark their path short of stripping fabric from their clothes. None of the girls were eager to start stripping, so that idea was discarded. They continued their strategy until Ruby reported a startling revelation.
“Hey, I think you’ll want to see this,” Ruby called. Her team poked their head into the first room but didn’t enter fully. “There’s writing on the walls. It’s creepy, but it’s something different.” She added and looked down the hallways.
It was wider like the central hallways, but no branching paths existed. It was a single, wide hallway that led to a smaller doorway. The walls were scrawled with black letters saying things like, “EAT. GET FATTER. MORE. STUFF YOUR FACE. GIVE IN. DEVOUR. DELICIOUS. NEVER STOP.” The only thing that wasn’t written was a drawing above the far door. It was what looked like a caricature of a pig and a chef.
The rest of Team RWBY stared down the hall and then at each other. They silently agreed that this hallway was worth exploring. They slipped through the first door single file as it was too narrow to allow more than one to pass. Once inside, they were able to waddle side by side.
Each was painfully aware of how their bodies wobbled and bounced. Their bellies swayed, their chests rolled in turn, their butt cheeks bounced with each step, and their thighs rubbed together constantly. There was no way to steady or reduce this motion. It was as sure as the sun rising and setting that these girls would feel their bodies quiver like gelatin with every move.
However, it was more settling to focus on this than the creepy writing around them.
They eventually reached the end of the hall. They passed through the door single file and stopped. The next room was more expansive, but the floor came to an abrupt stop. From the looks of it, it gave way to a bottomless pit. The floor resumed on the other side of the room, but there was no way to reach it.
Yang sighed and put her hands behind her head. The move used to be so practiced, but she felt her arms tire quickly. She ignored the sensation and groaned. “Looks like a dead end to me. Let’s turn back.”
“I…don’t think that’s an option,” Ruby said, noticeable fear in her voice.
The entire group turned and looked at the far end of the hall from which they came. On the other side of the doorway was a startling sight. It was undoubtedly the figure Yang had almost seen earlier. Now it remained eerily still so all could look upon it.
It was a mascot costume, the same one they saw drawn in the hallway. It was an anthropomorphic pig dressed as a chef. There was a white chef hat atop the cartoonish pig head, rosy cheeks, a wide grin, a pig nose, and large eyes that looked in opposite directions. The entire suit was puffy like a stereotypical fat chef with a rounded belly and chest. It partially stung that something meant to be a humorous fat caricature was slimmer than the four girls.
The mascot didn’t slip into the shadows. Instead, it stepped into the opening of the doorway. It stared the girls down and took a step closer. No one knew how to react. They didn’t have a path to retreat, and none wanted to approach the…thing.
As if sensing their hesitation, the mascot broke into a sprint. It rushed at them like a bat out of hell, arms swinging by its side as it locked in on them. There was no time to react as it closed the distance and slammed into Weiss like a linebacker. It easily tackled her to the ground and pinned her with one hand and a boot that looked like a hoof.
“Get this thing off of me!” Weiss exclaimed as she watched the mascot’s free hand open at the wrist. The hand fell to the side like an open hatch before a tube emerged. It coiled like a snake and stuffed itself into her mouth.
The tube undulated as the cold, thick milkshake was pumped into Weiss’s mouth and down her throat. The flavor was vanilla, but there was a noticeable greasy flavor that cloyed at her throat. She felt the substance rush into her belly where it instantly formed new fat. The sensation of her belly surging outward was immediate and intense. Flab spread wider just as it stretched further.
Meanwhile, the rest of Team RWBY tried to pull the mascot off of Weiss. They grabbed it by the arms or pushed against its shoulders, but the creature didn’t budge. Yang was the first to start striking it with her fists. Each swing caused her chest to bounce, and she struggled to ensure the blows struck true. The bounce of her underarms also smacked Ruby and Blake. It reached the point that Yang gave up on punching and instead wrapped her arms as far around the mascot as she could.
Yang planted her feet and pulled back as hard as she could. She easily lifted the mascot from the ground and tossed it aside. It rolled, and the tube appendage popped free from Weiss’s mouth. Blake and Ruby quickly pulled Weiss upright, while Yang watched the mascot return to its feet.
The mascot’s eyes trailed from Weiss to Yang. It cracked its puffy knuckles and lumbered toward her. The sight was intimidating, but Yang squared up with equal measure. She thrust her fist toward the mascot’s stomach the second it came into range. She quickly followed with another jab before a third swing caught the mascot’s chin. The mascot’s head spun like a top before it stopped, facing away from her.
A few clicks sounded before the mascot’s head righted itself on its own. After that, a dial emerged on its chest. It looked like a slot machine and spun rapidly. Eventually, three pictures of burgers settled before a bit of fanfare sounded. “Burger Blitzkrieg!” An automated voice sounded, more from the machine than the mascot. The mascot held its hands palm-up. Holes opened on the gloves, and fresh burgers emerged from them.
“What the?” Yang asked before one of the burgers was shoved into her mouth. The mascot was on the offensive now, but instead of punches, each swing of its arms stuffed a burger into Yang’s mouth. She stumbled back as she tried to defend herself, but the mascot was too fast. She had already scarfed down ten burgers before she managed to right her footing.
This was when Ruby joined the fray, leaving a dazed Weiss in Blake’s care. She used her semblance and thrust her body outward. Her feet momentarily left the ground, and she pushed her belly forward.
The mascot was caught off guard by Ruby, and her belly knocked it clean off its feet. The momentum was enough that it was sent in an arc, dropping it right into the pit. It fell deeper into the black abyss with only a swine-like shriek echoing behind it.
Ruby had landed on her butt after the expertly dealt belly-slam. Thankfully, Yang took her hand and lifted her. “Thanks for the assist,” Yang murmured and used her free hand to dab at the sauce and cheese at the corners of her mouth.
“No problem,” Ruby replied and rubbed the back of her head, a heavy upper arm inadvertently squishing her cheek. “That was…that was probably the scariest thing I’ve seen in my life.” She murmured and looked to the pit. Part of her hoped it was bottomless. She never wanted to see that mascot again.
Yang nodded. She felt the same, 100%.
The two turned to Weiss, who had finally risen to her feet. She rubbed her stomach, which sagged notably lower and was wide enough to eclipse her hips. She shuddered and shook her head. “That was the worst experience of my life.”
Blake chuckled. “I understand it was unpleasant, but are you sure about that?” She asked only for Weiss to push off of her.
“Of course I’m sure! Did you see that thing?!” Weiss shuddered again. “I will take my chances in the infinite hallways!” She stomped, her belly wobbled, and she waddled away.
“Aw, calm down, ice queen! That thing punched me with burgers! It’s freaky, but not the end of the world!” Yang called as she waddled after her friend.
Blake looked between Ruby and the pit. “I’m sure there will be another way. Though I wouldn’t say no to a place to sit down first.” She smiled. It was a rare attempt from Blake to lighten the mood, but she firmly squeezed Ruby’s shoulder before she followed the others.
It was Ruby who lingered the longest. She nervously rubbed her belly, fat squishing under her tubby fingers. Finally, she turned and followed her friends.
Minutes later, a gloved hand gripped the edge of the pit and started to climb out.

Fantastic work! Now, we have to wait two months for it to come back, so we can have something new arrive to keep things fresh. Still a fantastic idea that, to keep the pool of content varied, rather than focusing solely on what's most popular.
