HP Magic Punk Ch 179 : More On Transfiguration

In the bustling halls of Hogwarts, a small gathering had formed to celebrate Orion's recent success in earning points from Snape, much to the surprise and amazement of his fellow students.

He himself wasn't expecting that but after both McGonagall and Lupin left, they all with terrible tacit understanding started their party. 

And why shouldn't they, what Orion accomplished had never happened in Hogwarts before. 

As they mingled and chatted animatedly, even the girls who weren't talking with Orion ended up giving up and ran to his side when they saw the boy was getting attention not only from the boys but also other girls, the air was filled with an infectious sense accomplishment and more than that, a chance to let loose where everyone will join. 

Even Professor Lupin understood and took care of Professor McGonagall out of their way.

For Orion, this celebration was nothing but amusement. The only reason why he did what he did was to demonstrate that he is no longer the same Happy Go Lucky idiot he used to be.

He is pretty sure that by now this news would be passed to Dumbledore by Snape. And with this, he established what he wanted to do. 

Now he just has to wait and see what will Dumbledore do about this.

If Dumbledore just ignores him then it's okay, he ain't looking for trouble anyway. Showing his power was a necessary thing to do so he could explain to others not to mess with him. 

But that doesn't mean he wanted to join any already existing fraction or wants to deal with those idiots in the wizarding world. If possible he still wants just want to silently develop his own power.

If Dumbledore takes action against him then he is out of Hogwarts. There is nothing keeping in here anyway besides the urge to see what happened in the story and those girls. 

Otherwise, there is nothing besides that.

In any case, he won't be losing much.

While Orion was thinking about the possible consequences of his actions he felt that someone nudged him. They were some of his friends and other classmates.

As his friends congratulated him and raised their glasses in a toast, Orion couldn't help but feel a sense of pride swell within him. This pride has nothing to do with impressing a few school kids, NO. 

This pride was in his hard work an how strong he has gotten till now. He is far away from being the strongest like he always dreamed to be but right now he at least has enough power to save his own life. 

It was a reminder that even in the face of adversity (Cough Cough author being an ass and making him weak as fuck earlier), he was capable of achieving great things because he worked hard – a testament to his determination and resilience.

[Shut it brat, you are the last person who should talk about unfair life. You have more hacks in you then a common GTA player applies in his life time] Merlin chidded. 

'Ah, those were the days, having a list of cheats right next to the keyboard. Good Times,'

After having a party the crowd was finally dispersed and Orion directly visited the library.

"Been a long time since I came here," Orion mutters as he looks around, the platinum members aren't present there anymore.

[Most likely Nick is keeping her busy in his future world domination plan or something.] Merlin added offhandedly.

'World domination ?'

[Yeah that usually is the common play for the villain types right] Merlin shrugged. 

"Umm yes, but I don't think Nick is after that. Not sure why but that bastard if wanted some cliche type villain goal then would have done what he did. 

I mean why target me and Rose without any reason? If anything he would try to recruit people like me.

In fact, I still am thinking of what he was talking about back when we fought. Something about her being here and shit. I can't pinpoint but my guts say that I should what he was talking about." Orion said and shook his head.

Right now he really didn't want to again mix himself with that boy's matters. For him now it's either just ignore him or just kill him. Any more and he will be wasting his time. 

Once again nodding to himself Orion just moves on and looks for some advanced Transfiguration books. The basic ones are useless to him, Merlin at least knows the basics so he can teach him, not like Orion needed it, he wasn't sleeping in his classes with McGonagall still now, he knows all the basics. 

So he directly went for the advanced books. Soon some people in the library saw a boy sitting in the corner with a huge mountain of books on his table. 

Flipping book pages every few seconds like he read those pages. From time to time he even sips coffee which miraculously never runs out or gets cold while he is reading. 

While Orion was trying to focus, Merlin on the other hand had a solemn look on his face. 

He too was there when Nick said those words and unlike Orion, he might have some idea of what he was talking about. 

If before that fight Merlin had only suspicion then now Merlin was sure. 

The only thing he didn't understand was how Nick suspected that Orion was working for her, isn't he is the one supposed to work for that entity? 

There was confusion on his face, he somehow suspects that the situation is much more than he suspected. 

He originally wanted Orion to pursue this matter, wanting to find out what exactly Nick was talking about. 

But at that time Orion wasn't strong enough. Even now he was not strong enough to pursue this troubling matter. 

[Maybe in a few more years he will be ready] Merlin wonders. 

He is not exactly sure what going on but he does know one thing. He was given another 1000 years of time becuase there was something terrible was about to come. 

He is assured that that terrible thing sure has something to do with the upcoming rebirth of magic. 

[I have to explain about this too to him. Sigh, so much work and so little time.]

By night time...

'Seems like that all of it. I can say that I now do have a proper understanding of how transfiguration works when it comes to pure spell work.'

[Hmm that's good. So now comes the physical training. Got any plan ?] Merlin asked. 

'Hmm I was about to ask the same to you, I know how to train the muscles but not so much when it comes to Transfiguration.

In fact, I just don't feel like training in it. Almost everything is possible as long as I put enough intent in my magic. even a long-standing rule like the basic of transfiguration can change...' Orion whined. He wanted to just skip to the good parts like the straight to Law but Merlin told him to first master the basics. 

Sighing he looked at the clock, it was already past the normal visiting time when it came to the Library, he was only there because he hid his presence. 

But now that he was done, he just teleported out of the library directly to his dorm. Well, actually he no longer even stays in the Gryffindor dorm anymore. It's just in the name.

Mainly he stays in the Room of Requirement and mostly even sleeps there. 

"Catch up with some sleep, need to see what those girls are going do tomorrow,"
