Just to let you all know I’ll be going KU (Amazon exclusive) with arc 1 and 2 of liches from the 28th or so of May. What this means practically is that I will need to remove chapters 1-64 from RR. I will keep updating RR with arc 3 (Lich, Please), as usual, and it won’t affect what I upload to patreon.
The reason for this change is that I have essentially lost my day job and I am now, unexpectedly, living off my writing money. I’m immensely grateful that there is anything to live off, and I would like to thank you all for directly supporting me and giving me the confidence not to freak out.
I love having my story available for free, and I am sad I cannot do that anymore but unfortunately I need to be practical.
I have been working towards going full time (as a writer) for a while now, but this isn’t how I imagined doing it. Which is a little scary. I thought I was alright, but the combination of winter/covid and relentless power cuts we have here in South Africa has just proved too much for the little business that was sustaining me.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you all and let you know. At some point hopefully I will have more time to write because of this, although right now its just intense and horrible.
In other news I’m at chapter 30 with my edits for Twilight Kingdom, book 1. If anyone is interested in reading the cleaned up draft that I will publish to Amazon I will upload it here, before I have to take it down permanently. Aiming for the end of May with that.
Oh and the cover for Lich, Please is almost ready I will upload it here as soon as I have it.
