AOT Rays Of Heaven Ch 2 : System And Status

I found myself in the middle of nowhere, darkness all around and even moving was not possible.

“Great, yearning for freedom and I got this,” I mutter slowly and look around, nope nothing but darkness.

I saw the notification in front of me and blinked at the revelation that Mr ROB, didn’t rob me of my freedom and this finally made me sigh in relief.

[D. Novels]

Huh.., I can choose, that’s cool, I don’t remember reading any Fanfic back when I was alive that led the reincarnator to choose where they wanna go? Or maybe I did but don’t remember.

I ponder to myself, Novels and Books are out of the question considering I know none of them. So I am basically pondering between Movies or Anime.

Hmm, I will choose Anime, my knowledge about anime is far better than movies, not to mention, that there are more movies out there than there are anime, and the possibility of me reincarnating in anime which I know is much more than than a movie which I have seen.

So with that, I choose Anime. Rob did say that it will be a low-tier world so I am not that worried much.

I saw a wheel appear right in front of me, I understood the basic function of the wheel, spin it and whenever it stopped I would get that boon but there was nothing written on the wheel.

After shrugging I just spin the wheel without thinking much.

That’s actually pretty cool, just sleep and no need for Senzu beans I guess, I will say it's awesome. 2 more times left so let's keep going.

I saw the wheel moving and waited until the wheel stopped.

Hmm, not bad very useful and considering that both the boons I got were something which will help me in a fight, it's most likely that I am going into a dangerous world like Shonen. 

Well, I rather die in that Shonen than get rot in Heaven I guess. And with that, I spin the wheel for the last time.

Energy huh, maybe its like Chakra or Ki from Naruto or DBZ? Possible and if that is the case then how much is 99?

Hmm, name huh, well I am not sure. I better put something which is universal if possible. Something which is easy to say and at the same time represents me well. I started to think about a good name for myself. I would have just used my previous name but I can’t remember it, strange because I can remember everything else, but nothing about my own previous life.

Maybe God or Rob did something there.

Okay I will name myself Ray, that’s simple enough.

“Paradis, what's that? I asked with a little confusion but another notification came.

[Entering Into The Main Stream Line]

“Stream Line? What is ……” I suddenly stopped my sentence as the darkness around me started to disappear and, I saw the light break from the Horizon and the sunrise in front of me.  My mouth opened in amazement as the place I was in started to illuminated.

This was exactly like that Zelda game, go hero save them on an epic adventure and save the princess. And get your ass kick multiple times while you are at it.

“Beautiful,” I said with almost tears in my eyes, I saw grass, rocks, small houses and huts. I saw fucking civilization.

And above anything I saw in perfection, broken sign boards and uneven plain. After many years I saw something this much humane thing around me.

“Thank you, GOD, no no no I mean ROB,” I almost shouted.

Before I run forward and starts to kiss every fucking ugly asshole to express my joy, I saw a screen in front of me.

I saw the entire Status window and realized that it's really like a game system. 

“Cool,” I let out an excited whistle and started to understand all the stats and powers.

The first section of the window is simple enough so no need to worry about that. The second part mainly the Stat is the one in which I put my brain cells to work.

I was a seasonal anime watcher but never a gamer, I mean I was more into GTA and not this kind of games.

But it's not that hard to understand, just need to find out what kind of levels normally people have here to understand more about my own position in the food chain and know where I stand in the hierarchy.

Charm and Luck sounds good but what with the Wisdom. I did play Elden Ring and in the same, it was definitely represented by a number and can be upgraded by spending runes.

A confused look was on my face but I just waved my hand to make the window disappear.

“Who cares about the stupid status window. Let's first find out where I am not like the Status has any plan telling me,” I rolled my eyes and finally stood up, noticing that the sun had risen completely and the entire place had been illuminated.

“Awesoooo………” I once again stopped in between as I saw a giant ass wall in front of me.

“Oh brother,” I saw the damn wall extending as long as my eyes could carry, and now I suddenly realize that I can see pretty far. Although can’t test how far as I saw another wall of similar height covering the entire area and hindering my view.

“Maybe I know where I am”. I said and a little feeling of dread started to creep in.
