NARUTO PLAYERS OF CHAOS CHAPTER 17 : AKIRA VS ITACHI

It really took Akira a lot of time to get his sniper rifle and come to the Uchiha compound without letting Anbu spot him.

He could already sense that Itachi have already started killing people from his clan. He could also sense someone else chakra beside Itachi there. This someone was Obito who appear there and also killed many Uchiha members.

Akira was thinking about going there as well but later sense Kagami there and thought that it was better not to appear in front of Kagami.

So the moment he saw Itachi he took aim and shoot him without even sensing whether Itachi is really him or a clone.

This was a mistake because now after knowing that that was not the real Itachi and was only a clone. Akira spread his sense to find the location of the real Itachi.

He found that the real Itachi is directly coming towards him and this was not a good sign.

He wanted to run away but considering the penalty, he thought otherwise. So Akira quickly took out a masked which he ended up creating for this situation. This time he was not transforming himself into Obito because the real Obito was here and Itachi will find out about this transformation within seconds, so he ended up taking another mask which he created just for today.

By the time Akira wore the mask and put his sniper away. Itachi was already there.

He knew that looking at Itachi's eyes is not a good idea and thus he activated his Tenseigan and kept looking at his feet. Like how Guy did in the anime.

"Who are you" Itachi asked.

"Someone who doesn't want you to kill all the Uchiha" Akira replied without delay. He was not sure what to say to Itachi so he decided to be direct.

"Why," Itachi asked.

"Because I don't think that this is the right way," Akira said.

"You can't decide that," Itachi said still in his cold voice but Akira could sense agitation in his voice and internally even Itachi was surprised that a kid with a masked is telling him what is right and what is not. Not to mention this kid know what exactly he is doing here and why.

"Neither can you. Just to save your brother. You are ready to kill everyone else. Those others are also innocent like your brother. Why not save them too." Akira said. He knew that he will have to fight Itachi here so its better to first make him doubt himself before starting the fight.

Itachi did not say anything after that. He was only thinking how this kid in front of him know so much about him. At one point Akira thought that he was successful but then suddenly multiple kunai came towards him.

He easily dodge the attack but the attack was more like a trap because that was followed up with fine ninja wire attached to the kunai.

Akira was able to see the attack coming but he was not fast enough to move out of the way.

"Shit, how I am this fast have fallen into a disadvantageous situation." Akira mutter to himself.

He had to block the wire with his hands so it does not reach his neck. Doing so damaged his hands but he had to choose between his hand to his neck.

Akira quickly steps back but suddenly found a fireball coming towards him. This fireball was so powerful that he could feel the head even before it was close to him.

Akira quickly dodge the attack but while doing that he forgot to keep his eyes on the ground. He ended up looking at Itachi's eyes.

But unlike what he thought, he was not captured by a Genjutsu the moment he saw Itachi's eyes. Rather it was Itachi who got stunned by looking at Akira's eyes.

Akira's eyes were currently Tenseigan and even without being activated they draw others' attention towards him. Now after being activated, they almost had a hypnotic effect on anyone who sees his eyes.

Even Itachi could not help but lose his focus after seeing his eyes. But he was Itachi the best Genjutsu user. He quickly understands that those eyes are silently transferring a little bit of chakra in his system to make him unfocus or to be more precise only focus on those eyes.

Itachi immediately took control of his mental state and quickly cast genjutsu on Akira.

The masked child in front of him was only his brother's age.

"How did you kill my clone," Itachi ask but unknown to him. Akira was not under his Genjutsu.

His training with Tenseigan right now was enough to protect himself from any normal Genjutsu.

"Will you leave the Uchiha clan alone if I tell you?" Akira asks not even knowing that Itachi cast a Genjutsu on him and he subconsciously repels it.

This question makes Itachi realize that his Genjutsu did not work on the Masked child him front of him. He did not have any information about this child either. The only unique thing about him was his age and that beautiful eyes of his which may be cancelling his Genjutsu. Not to mention he himself has fallen for their Genjutsu trick for a second there.

"You repel it" Itachi mutter. Not asking for butter but rather stating that Akira repel his Genjutsu attack. Akira though did not understand what Itachi was talking about though.

Akira did not care either way though. Seeing that Itachi is not putting him in a Genjutsu he dared a little and keep talking to Itachi who now had a complicated expression on his face.

"You already took the majority of the strong people in the clan. They won't be able to repel even if they want. Just let them go" Akira said once again trying to convince Itachi.

Itachi did not say anything at first but then he ask.

"Why do you care about this" Itachi ask.

Akira did not say anything immediately. He knew that Itachi will catch him lied if he tell one. So he thought about it a little and said.

"I know that the Uchiha clan have faults but that does not mean a complete eradication is the only way to solve this issue. I believe that if we left the future to the next generation then they might be able to achieve what those elders could not. Especially if they are not influenced by the hatred of their elders." Akira tried to represent what he thought in a way that its looks are genuine.

He not only believe but he knew that the next generation will work out a solution because they did in Naruto and Boruto.

The conviction in Akira's words make Itachi to think a little but Akira did not have a talk no jutsu like Naruto. Itachi might be thinking about it a little but after coming this far. After killing his own people and parents. A child's childish talk is not going to change his mind.
