NARUTO PLAYERS OF CHAOS CHAPTER 3 : ACADEMY

[Akira POV]

Today is the first day of the Ninja Academy. Honestly, I was not expecting much but still, I hope that I am in the same class as in Naruto and other Konoha 9.

Actually, I have no idea whether there are any other classes besides the main class where Naruto and the other Konoha 12 learn.

I am lucky actually that I the same age as Naruto and other Konoha 12.

So with mustering all the courage and killing all my hope of getting better school life than what I had in my original world. I finally embark on a long and boring journey of going back to school.

But have to come back home because I was almost 3 hours early and the academy gate was closed.

So after waiting for another 3 hours I finally came to the academy and went inside it. Considering that this was the first day of the academy, almost all the parents came to leave their kids to the academy.

After entering the classroom, I saw many kids inside but the one which I was looking for was not there.

Uzumaki Naruto was not there. Well, there is a possibility that Naruto will join later on but still, I was honestly expecting to connect with Naruto and befriend him.

While I was thinking about this I heard a sound which was very familiar to me. This sound was none other than of the two little devils who pretty much harass me every day.

"Akira Kun here, come here" Both Ino and Sakura who already have found a seat called me.

I just grudgingly went to them, it's not like I can refuse as they will just change and seat from where they are seating to where ever I will seat.

"Thanks for finding a seat for me but I rather seat with some guys. Don't you girls have your own girlfriends to seat and chat with all 6 years of academy life" I said in irritation but still had a smile on my face.

"Oh come on, you don't have any other friends beside us and don't you lie to us. I already know that you spend all your day either training or doing those experiments of yours. If we don't look after our dear Akira Kun then who will" Ino chirp.

"At first I thought that Sakura is the wild one but now I honestly believe that Ino deserves equal or more hate on this aspect compare to Sakura." I thought to myself.

"Oh but that's a problem Ino chan, I am afraid that I will not be able to concentrate while seating beside two beautiful girls like you two," I said, my lips twitching.

"More like I will be irritated to death by you two little monsters. God little girls and their high pitch voice is the worst" I internally complained.

Over the time I started interacting with Ino, this girl has become used to me. At first she at least used to blush and that was cute but now it's all talk and talk. It's either about what kinds of flowers she likes or how her friend did not have any fashion sense or something along those lines.

Hearing me both Ino and Sakura blushed and then started pouting.

This is my only sense of relief. As long as I compliment them a little. They will talk less and at least act a little cute.

"Damn pretty boy" That is what I heard someone saying but could not tell who said this.

While looking around my eyes went towards Sasuke. I have to agree that this kid is handsome and cute at this age. Not sure how he will be after a few years but at least now I understand why girls are all flocking around him.

But I am cool, I don't care if that Sasuke looks like a Korean actor with an attitude, I don't care at all.

"Okay then. I am not sure but for the time being, I will be seating here" I said finding no way to refuse the two girls. I already knew that they will pester me to seat with them later and it was better to seat here for some time and later change the seat.

It's not like I have time to play with kids here because I also have to spy on that Uchiha kid 'Kagami' and learn how he too has the hologram.

I waited for Naruto and talk with Ino and Sakura for a bit but he never came. Our homeroom teacher was Iruka and I was expecting him to be our teacher.

In fact, he is a good teacher at least to Naruto. It was almost 2 hours later when Naruto Uzumaki considered gracing us peasants with his presence.

"But honestly, which school even consider letting the kid in if he is late by almost 2 hours" I question.

And my anger was not on Naruto or on this world's education system but rather on the education system of Earth.

"Learn something from here you suckers" I mutter to myself with an annoyed face. Complaining about by the previous school.

Though Naruto's entry was pretty interesting and Iruka shouting at him and not boring us to death was even better.

But that did not last for long and Naruto was allowed to sit. I thought that Iruka will not allow him to sit but he did. Well good for Naruto.

Now guess where Naruto ended up sitting. If you guess beside me then you get full points. Apparently, one class have room for around 30 students.

But this time around there is one more student of course for obvious reasons. This cause at least 1 student to sit with three people.

One row usually 3 kids' seats and right now in one place, Naruto, Ino and Sakura were sitting.

"I am pretty sure that the sitting will change later on but currently I have to compromise.

I don't particularly mind sitting with Naruto or even Sakura. And yes I am surprised that I am picking Sakura over Ino but really right now Sakura is much better and silent compared to Ino.

The class kept on going for another few more hours before getting a break.

"Hey, hey do you remember me," asked Naruto.

I did not come in contact with Naruto after the incident in the market. This was not only because I was worried about the Hokage and Danzo targeting me but rather because I do not have enough time to do so.

He had pretty much every hour dedicated to either learning, experimenting or doing anything better than playing with a 5-year-olds.

"I do, you are the person who I gave milk to in the market a few months ago," I said like remembering something.

Naruto perks up after hearing that I remember him. "Thank you for helping me back then," Naruto said in excitement.

"What is your name" Naruto asked with a  hint of embarrassment. Akira remember that he told Naruto his name back when he met him for the first time but who cares, Its not like he remembers all the names of the people he meets.

"I am Akira Raito, nice to meet you," I said and extended my hand towards him for a handshake.

Now shaking hands is a more Western thing and here people don't shake hands so Naruto was confused and what to do.

I also realize that my action was strange for people around here and quickly put his hand down.

"By the way, these are my friends. This is Sakura Haruno and the girl sitting beside her on the other side is Ino Yamanaka." Akira said and both Ino and Sakura waved their hands towards them.

"Nice to meet you, would you like to play after the class." Ino was the first one to talk to Naruto. Sakura was still a little reserved at this point.

Naruto quickly became a friend of Ino and Sakura.

"Maybe in the anime, they were not friends because there was no one to introduce Naruto to them" I thought to myself looking at Naruto and the girls.

"Okay kids, I want all of you to introduce yourself and tell me your future goals," Iruka said.

This started with many of the children talking in themselves but Iruka calm them down.

Soon everyone started to introduce themselves.

After many kids introduced themselves comes to the chance of the Konoha 9.

"I am Kiba Inuzzuka. I like my clan and dogs and I will be the strongest ninja in the world." Kiba was the first one to say.  Being the hyperactive kid he was.

"I am Naruto Uzumaki. I like Ramen and I hate the 5 minutes it takes to make Ramen. I will be the Hokage in the future" shouted Naruto. Being more hyperactive than Kiba but did not introduce himself before Kiba because he was uncertain. So after Kiba introduce himself. He directly shouted. Iruka just sigh at this but did not say anything.

"I am Ino Yamanaka and I am from the Yamanaka clan. I like my parents and flowers. I want to be a great Ninja and also get myself a boyfriend" Ino said being the third person. Ino is actually a pretty cheerful girl and thus is not shy at all.

"Really a boyfriend" Akira mutter to himself. At least don't say that to others.

Iruka also sigh at that but did not again say anything.

"I am Sasuke Uchiha. I like my clan, parents and big brother. I dislike it when my brother doesn't spend time with me and in future I will be a great shinobi just like my brother" Sasuke said.

"This guy is totally a fanboy for his big brother" Akira mutter and roll his eyes.

"I am Shino Aburame. I am from the Aburame clan and I like my insects and hive. I hate when someone hurt my hive or ignores me. My future goals are to become a accomplished Ninja" said Shino.

"This guy is only 5 and still he talks just like how he used to do in the anime" Akira thought and deadpan.

"I am Choji from the Akimichi Clan and I like eating. My favourite food is Potato Chips and really I hate when people call me fat" Choji was the next one to talk.

"I am Shikamaru Nara. I like sleeping and don't have any ambition at all." That was Shikamaru's response and everyone deadpan at that. But surprisingly or maybe not so surprisingly, Iruka was not at all surprised at this. Maybe he already knows how the people of the Nara clan are.

"I am Sakura Haruo. I want to be a good kunoichi in the future and I like my parents and my friends" said Sakura with a shy face.

"Cha, tell them you girl" inter Sakura shouted.

"I am Hinata Hyuga. I am from the Hyuga clan and want to be the strong Kunoichi and I like my sister the most and." Hinata said but did not complete what she wanted to say but was definitely shying and looking at Naruto at the end of her sentence.

After Hinata, the last person who was left was none other than Akira himself.

"I am Akira Raito. I like training and getting stronger. I want to get stronger and save my important people. I also like reading. " Akira said.

He first thought why not announce that he wants to be a Hokage but then thought that it's better to completely avoid that black hole altogether.

Finally, after the introduction and some more teaching, came the time for a break.

I made food for myself and even created a little more considering that my food was created from the cooking book which I got last time for fooling the Anbu.

I created more because I knew that after looking at my different food those kids like Sakura and Ino will definitely go after my food.

There was also a possibility that Naruto join and he does not have any food on him and thus making enough so that at least 2 adults can eat without many issues was the right decision which I choose.

"Woh, what are you eating Akira" Ino as usual was the first one to ask and before I could even answer what I was eating she snatch the food from my plate and eat it.

"I can't believe this girl." I only sigh said this internally.

"Yummy, what is this "asked Ino.

"This is called Pasta," I said offering them to Sakura and Naruto as they too were lusting after my Pasta.

Naruto actually was looking a little worried as I offer him food and this make me again think about what kind of life this child has lived to be this wary.

In the end, he ended up taking the food and both of them liked Pasta a lot. Maybe it can't replace Naruto's favourite food but it's still pretty high on the list considering Naruto's reaction after eating Pasta.

Sakura particularly like Pasta and ask me how I make it.

Apparently, this world does not have things like Pasta or burger. All this food came from the western side of the world in his previous life.

"Akira hmm, I wanted to ask can we be friends" Naruto ask before the break ended.

I just look at him and after not saying anything like I am thinking about something, I said.

" I thought we are already friends but yeah sure. I would love to be your friend" I said with a smile.

Naruto while I was not talking and answering his question was fidgeting. But after hearing my answer there was a radiant smile on his face.

And this is how the entire day went on. Iruka's teachings were really very boring and I personally was not feeling very good after hearing all those will of fire nonsense which Hiruzen use to mind-wash the next generation.

"Okay that's all for today now. if any of you have any questions here" ask Iruka.

This entire day Iruka only talk about the academy rules and the glory of the hidden leaf. Not to mention full-on brainwashing of the kids.

"Sensei, what is the will of fire" Naruto was the one who ask this question.

At this time Iruka was not like the person he was in the start of the anime. Right now he does not like Naruto and considers Naruto the reason his parents died.

There was a disdain on his face which both Naruto and I notice was Iruka's answer nonetheless.

The man is professional this way.

"It means that everyone in the village is a family and we should protect our family and our love ones," said Iruka.

Naruto did not understand and I can say this by just looking at his face but he did not continue to ask Iruka and sat down.

I too hardly care what going on inside this classroom. All I care about right now was getting stronger for what is about to come.

Finally, the first day of the academy was over and all the students started to move out of the academy and go home.

"Akira, you told me that you will teach me how to make Pasta remember." Sakura was apparent about learning how to make Pasta. Maybe she really likes Pasta that much.

"Okay, I don't have any issue teaching you," I said but should I have been more quiet as both Naruto and Ino heard him saying this?

"What, you are going to teach cooking? I too wanna come. " Ino shouted after hearing that I am teaching Sakura who is quickly turning out to be her best friend.

Naruto was also looking at me with shiny hopeful eyes.

Now there is hardly any way that I can reject so they started looking at me with their big eyes and attacked me with their cuteness.

7 years old sure are cunning here. So I have to take all of them from the academy to a special hunting ground which I often use.

"Welcome, this my special hunting ground. I usually hunt here but today we will be using this place to learn how to make some Pasta.

I already have bought all the things we needed so let's just start making Pasta" I said and all of them were also interested in how I created Pasta.

To be honest, kids of just 7 years old are pretty much interested in anything but once the novelty wears off, it does not matter whether you are taking them to space they are going to get bored no matter what.

Maybe the only among them who was really interested in Pasta or cooking altogether is Sakura who had a glint in her eyes all the time I was teaching her how to cook. It was not only Pasta either. I cook many different things for all of them and they love the food.

In the end, Sakura was the only one who continued to as for more cooking classes but I was in no way a cooking genius so I just said.

"I will tell you if I have any new recipe for sure".

Time like this keep on going and slowly I started to become friends with other children in the academy.

But still, I mostly invested my time in Training.

It was after 2 months of starting the academy that something really interesting happened in My life.

This was a new mission from this hologram system.

Mission -  Shisui Uchiha.

Option 1 - Kill Shisui Uchiha

Completing Reward - Unlock Blood Line Limit.

Option 2 - Save Shisui Uchiha (hard)

Completing Reward - Death Note.

I was surprised when this message came to me and I had no idea how to save Shisui in fact killing Shisui is much easier than saving him. It's not like Shisui did not have a chance to save himself in the anime but he choose to die because that was a better thing to do for the village, so it's pretty much a guarantee that Shisui will die, in fact, he wanted to die and thus it is not very hard to kill him if I play my cards right.

On the other hand, not only do I lack the needed power to save Shisui currently but at the same time I will be getting on Danzo's bad list if he finds me that I save Shisui.

But honestly, I really wanted that Death Note. That is completely a cheat item. The only thing which I am worried about is the curse that comes with using that power but in this world, living long enough is already a hard thing to do so I better don't worry about that.

But again it's not like I can get that. While the reward is nothing less than godly for any world the difficulty of this is also extraordinary. Surely the rewards is proportional to the difficulty of the mission I choose.

While I was thinking about this, my attention unconsciously went towards the thing which I was working currently.

This was a very first model of a gun which I was working on since I came here. Rather than gun powder which I lack currently, I ended up using Chakra to create pressure inside the gun just like how any gun will work after the gunpowder inside it ignites.

"Maybe I could complete this before the attack on Shisui happens and I can use it on him," I thought.

I really don't want to kill Shisui but there is literally no way for me to save him right now.

With that said, I finally decided to choose to kill Shisui rather than save him and the way I am going to kill Shisui is by creating a modern weapon which completely changed the battlefield after it was invented.

This legendary weapon which is very popular in modern-day FPS video games was called a SNIPER rife.

"But my sniper will not work on gunpowder but rather chakra. I just hope that I can complete this project before Danzo attacks Shisui." I mutter to myself.

While this was happening, I heard a knock coming from outside.

I already knew who this person was.

"What are you doing here Naruto," I said before even the door could open completely.

"Hey Akira, did you forget that you promise me that you will play ninja with me" shouted Ninja.

This 6-year-old troublemaker is quickly becoming a second Ino with his sheer ability to annoy me.

"Yes I did tell you that but I never said that I will play with you today" I said.

After facing trouble with Anbu who follow Naruto and their monitoring of him. I was fully determined to develop sensing ability but I have no idea how to do that.

The best way to learn this is through Ino. I can simply get in contact with Ino's father and try to learn from him but considering how protective he is of Ino is most of the fanfiction I read before or in the anime too. I don't think that it's a good idea to approach Inoichi, at least not through Ino.

After hearing this Naruto instantly looked down.

"Damn this 7-year-old and their cute emotional blackmail no jutsu," I mutter inside my head.

"Okay okay, I will play but remember that I also have my training to do and I will not be able to play with you tomorrow," I said to Naruto.

Looking at his face it seems that he does not even care about that.

He just looked happy that I will play with him today.

"Truly this boy is just a simply naive child. It's hard to believe in just under 10 years this boy is not only going to save the whole ninja world but he is also going to change it to a place where no wars happen anymore.

With all this thought inside my head, I leave all my experimental work behind and went with Naruto to really play with him.

But this was not just playing. I might not be an adult even if I die but still playing with a 6-year-old child is not something which I find fun.

What I usually do when I play with either Ino, Sakura, Naruto or any other child from the academy is that I try to make a real-world situation and ask them to role-play.

Like I did this time around. I ask Naruto to imagine that there are 2 enemy shinobi chasing him and he needs to hide or run while also carrying an injured person which is me. What will you do.

Honestly, he sucks at this kind of game where he needs to use even 1% of his brain but still he is getting better.

I only played with him because there are no other kids who play with him.

Parents have already warned their kids to not to play with Naruto and this even extended to Sakura who started to avoid Naruto lately.

I personally have talked with her and told her that although it's fine if you don't wanna play with Naruto but doesn't believe if anyone says ill of Naruto.

That Naruto is also just a child like us and I went on and on giving her enough reason not to hate Naruto. But in the end, she still looked a little worried about this.

Truly, children highly get influenced by their parents and changing their mind is really hard.

After playing with Naruto and pretty much wasting my entire day I ended up going back to my work and from now on ended up giving my entire attention on creating a Sniper.

Creating a gun is not easy, especially if that gun is a chakra gun which I am creating in an era in which people don't even know what a gun is.

But I honestly see myself using a gun in a close combat battle in the future.

"Doing Gunfu is really one of my dreams. And being able to do that in this world where technology is next to nothing is honestly an exciting thought for me" I mutter to myself and with that keep on working.

[POV END]

[Kagami POV]

I am not sure what to do about this mission.

It just told me to save big brother Shisui but don't tell me how to do that.

I don't know what is going to happen.

I don't know when this going to happen.

I don't know where this going to happen.

Heck, I don't even know whether this has either something which will happen in the future or has already happened.

Big Brother is alive currently so at least whatever will cost him his life has not happened yet if this something is not an incurable disease.

It's not like I can directly go to him and ask.

"Is there something which will cause you your live anytime soon".

"The only thing which will kill me in the near future is you. You troublesome idiot. Why the hell do you even care about something like that and why I am hearing that you are going around asking people in the clan that I am unwell and won't be coming to work " That is exactly what he said.

I got the answer because I being the stupid little kid that I am, really ended up asking him and from that point onwards Shisui is not even telling me about what kind of missions he is taking because he apparently did not want to worry me.

While I was thinking about this, someone ended up calling me outside. This someone was none other than Sasuke Uchiha.

My big brother is friends with his elder brother Itachi. They are not of the same age so I am not sure how they ended up becoming friends but who care?

Big Brother always says that Itachi is a genius. Even bigger genius than himself.

"What are you doing here Sasuke," I ask.

"Nothing just wanted to invite you to train with me" Sasuke asked me.

I thought about this a little and then agreed eventually.

While training with Sasuke the only thing which I was thinking about was how to save Shisui.

After thinking about this for many days the only thing I could do right now was to follow Shisui around everywhere and protect him which is pretty much impossible. I sigh internally and thought about what possibly caused Shisui to die.

My brother is very strong and even has a nickname of Shisui of the Body Flicker. Even if he does not have the power to defend the enemy, there is still a chance to get away from the enemy with his skills. Another important thing is that my brother already possesses Mangekyou Sharingan and there is literally a hand full of people who might be able to kill him.

I sign again and just keep on training with Sasuke.

[POV END]

[Third Person POV]

Killing Shisui was the first big task for Akira after defeating that cloud shinobi. Honestly, he did not want to do that but if there is one person besides a few members of the Akatsuki and that black Zetsu who knows what is going to happen in the future then its him. And thus he knows how important it is to get stronger.

And it does not matter as even if all those earth-shattering things were not about to happen in the future, Akira will still look for ways to get stronger. Because of how dangerous this world is.

So he has already decided to kill Shisui and go for the easier reward.

And that is the reason he is currently working tirelessly on his Chakra Sniper.

While Akira is working on this sniper. Kagami at this time was trailing his brother to safeguard him.

He had no idea when his brother is going to die or what or who will cause his death. This thing was making him anxious.

Sakura at this time was just blushing at random moments in her house after suddenly thinking about all the handsome boys in the academy.

Blushing a little more after thinking about the person who she is going to give her first kiss.

But none of them knew at this time that they are not the only person who are playing this game.

And this is how the entire story is going to play out.

There are many players in this game and currently, only Akira is a person who has seen another player using the hologram status.

While Akira is the main character here but that does not mean that other players do not matter.

There are more players who are yet to announce their presence.

While players were thinking how to complete their given mission, the world here was changing.

And the game has already started.

[Hey guys hope you like the plot so far and yes I already know that there are many plot holes and unexplained things which I will be fixing and explaining soon enough. Not to mention there are also a lot of mysteries which I will be revealing as more chapters comes.

I just want to say that this Fanfic is a little more like a game but not in a way "The Gamer" or how many gamer fanfic out there but more like the world setting.

There are many players in this world and all of them get a mission to somehow preserve or break the original plot. Not to mention the missions are going to get more ridiculous as time passes.

There is also the fact that I am not planning to only focus on the MC like I usually do in all my fanfiction. This fiction will not be the entire MC focus. Another important thing which I observe in my fanfiction is that I tense to make all my MC overpower. This is not something I want to do this time around.

He might not be overpowering in the start and there will be an entire arc of him getting stronger.

Now let me explain the power system here and all those holograms I was talking about.

That hologram is nothing but a game status but because a lot of people in the shinobi world do not understand the term game stats (or even hologram word) and status I ended up describing it as Hologram or floating text.

There are basically only 2 power in the entire system.

There is Inborn Talent and this is something every player is born with and is unique to them but needs to unlock by him or her. Again this particular power is unique to that player.

Next is the Blood Line Limit. This is similar to all the Kekkei Genkai we all see in Naruto. In fact just like you might have read in Chapter 1, only Akira's bloodline limit is special and you all will know soon enough but beside that bloodline limit will be no chance.

This particular project is something I was thinking about for a long time and wanted to work on. I will try to make this world more realistic but also wants to add some slice-of-life factors here as well. And this story is going to be a long one as there are many players in this world with different abilities and goals plus there is also the scary voice which is the main game master but more on that later on.

I goal here is to make no villains as there is no villains in Narutoverse but rather only people with different viewpoint trying to achieve peace in this world.

Well, there is one villain because how else I will make this world more chaotic but again more on that later on.
