Well, I finally got all of the assets drawn for Chapter 2, as well as found and edited sound clips for the scenes. It took longer than I had anticipated, but it's looking like the hard work will pay off pretty soon!
Back to the coding salt mines!
While I have a few obligations beyond my control this week, I'll be coding things up whenever I get free time, so hopefully there will be a playable pre-alpha demo complete through chapter 2 very soon. Stay tuned!

There's a closeup image of Peg that includes her face and chest that's going into chapter 2 of the game, and I intend to do something similar to what you described in chapter 3.
