Added 2019-10-11 23:34:24 +0000 UTCEDIT: changed the framing! I've always drawn my panels extending all the way to the edge of the paper, but I'm starting to think it looks better with the white borders (i.e. standard manga format), so from now on I'll be switching to that!
I purchased some foliage brushes and finally made a proper effort with the backgrounds! The top right one is a prefab where I added some tones, but the top left one is entirely hand-drawn + made fancy with brushes.
It took forever to get the hang of it, but fingers crossed I can learn to do it fast so I won't have to do stick-figure style backgrounds anymore lol
