Kinkel is most definitely the most sick and twisted villain in this series. But he was definitely legit really smart. Dude was playing 4D Chess before they even arrived at the castle. He was one step ahead of them that entire time. And he got very close to winning too. Only reason he didn’t was because he didn’t expect Hazuki to risk her life like that.
