Friends:
Here's the archived post of Peter Follansbee's appearance on the Workbench Sessions. As expected, Peter brought a wealth of experience and a surprisingly wry wit to the whole affair. He was a treat to talk to.
Thanks to all of you who made this possible.
Enjoy!

It's positively embarrassing how long it took me to realize it wasn't Draw Board Tennon, but rather Draw Bored Tennon.

Thanks for the video with Peter Follansbee. I despair for ever catching your WBS sessions while they were live. Follansbee is a giant, in my mind and sorry so few caught this insightful exposure of 17th century and later green wood furniture making. First, I did not know that... but now it makes sense as he explains it. Second, Respect! for the ilk of Peter who can start from museum pieces and discover the way our ancestors built them. I might have just said, "Hmm, interesting." And all that beautiful intricate hand carving comes down to a few whacks in the right place with a few curved chisels! Wow. Mind blown. Thanks again for including this woodworking god, Peter Follansbee, in you WBS interviews.
