The advent of unusually agile Medusid-20 infectees has been a source of many rumors, most of them unfounded. There is no need to panic! While it is true that the more mobile infectees, popularly referred to as "golems" in the media, are more dangerous than standard victims of the virus, the Medusid-20 Unified Response Force (MURF) has determined that the number of these atypical infectees is extremely low.
We estimate that no more than one in a thousand infectees at large demonstrate this aberrant mobility after the virus reaches its final stage. Our researchers are still trying to determine whether these atypical victims are infected with a mutated strain of Medusid-20, or simply remain mobile due to some heretofore unidentified aspect of their particular physiology.
In the meantime, you may rest assured that MURF has been taking steps to contain the threat posed by these aberrant infectees. As we receive reports of "golems" at large in inhabited areas, we dispatch armed teams of specialists to deal with them promptly and efficiently. Should you encounter such a team in your vicinity, please stay out of their way and allow them to do their job.
