Patrick Swayze was as dashing as ever, Whoopi was charming and funny, Demi was so sweet! I laughed, cried and blushed. Good choice on this one 👍 Any other Patrick, Whoopi or Demi movies we should check out?

2025-12-16 06:23:38 +0000 UTCEnjoyed watching this movie with you Jen. I think the last time I saw it was on VHS so it's been a while, but I did remember a lot of Whoopi's funny dialogue. It's still a cool movie with a lot of clever ideas, and a lot of heart 🤗 Director Jerry Zucker is best known for comedy, being one third of the directing team on Airplane! and also helping to create Police Squad and The Naked Gun. The composer was the late, great Maurice Jarre, who is probably best know for his epic scores for David Lean. Lawrence of Arabia, Ryan's Daughter, Doctor Zhivago, A Passage to India to name a few. In the 80s and 90s he started using a lot of electronics in his scores, sometimes just having an electronic ensemble, and other times combining them with the orchestra. Some of his best scores in that period include Witness, Mad Max : Beyond Thunderdome, The Mosquito Coast, Enemy Mine and Fatal Attraction. He is also the father of synthesiser legend Jean-Michel Jarre, he of Oygene fame. That's it. I'm finished with my music facts for today 😅 Thanks for your awesome reaction for Ghost Jen 👻😊
