Added 2025-04-21 01:25:28 +0000 UTCThis one was so much fun! Kinda felt Indiana Jones-esque to me but with a romance novelist for a heroine! Loved the chemistry between the leads, loved seeing Danny DeVito, loved the music! Is the sequel Jewel of the Nile any good?

Also Jen... for some reason you have not done LA Confidential (Danny De Vito again), which is a top ten movie on many many lists. 50s cop drama with Guy Pearce and Russel Crowe in their breakout roles with Kevin Spacey. It is easily the best film you have not yet reacted to.

2025-05-17 17:57:30 +0000 UTCThis trio (Douglas, Turner, De Vito) also reunited after the sequel for the comedy War of the Roses. Another classic De Vito from the 80s that you would love is called Ruthless People. De Vito is on his way home to kill his wife (Bette Midler), but unfortunately she has been taken by inept kidnappers Judge Reinhold (Rosemont High, Beverley Hills Cop) and Helen Slater (Supergirl). Has sone really funny moments. "I'M ROBBING YOU !"
