Check out my pinned post ALL CONTENT , with everything listed alphabetically! It's always pinned at the top of my page with links to schedule, weekly poll + request site!
Also check out Collections tab to see things sorted by genre, decade and series!

*Regarding Email Notifications: I know it can be annoying to be emailed every single time I post something. You can change your email notifications on the left hand panel in 'Settings' under 'Email Notifications' (desktop)

*Regarding Name in Credits: If you're on a credits tier it can take up to a week to see your name in the credits (though usually within a few days). This is because I sometimes work ahead to get videos ready to post before they go live. If you do not see your name after 1 week please message me and I will make sure to add it. Credits will be listed as your name shows on Patreon. If you don't want your name in credits please message me and I'll remove you from list.

*Spoilers: PLEASE no spoilers in comments or in direct messages to me. No "hints" or trying to lead me in the right direction or asking if I want to know something. The point of these reactions is for me to discover things as I go and to be surprised. Thank you, I appreciate it!

*Replies to Messages/Comments: Across all platforms I now get hundreds of comments and messages every single day. I do my best to return messages but please do not be offended if I do not reply or if replies take a while. Many larger channels hire people to help them answer messages or reply to comments. I read all comments and messages myself, even if I don't have time to reply. If you leave a comment or message please know I received it and I appreciate it.

Hey Jen. For Valentines Day next month, I would highly recommend you check out “As Good as It Gets “. Im usually not a fan of rom coms but this one is very special and one of my favorites. Not only does it have a superb cast (Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt, among others) but it also features a cute dog, that I know you’ll definitely appreciate. The dog is one of the main focus of the movie. Hope this helps.

Happy days. Taking Care of Film Requests. 👍

Jason Scade

I looked last night and I was not able to add, but just looked now and was able to add, my first thought was the cache as well. Not sure what changed but I’m very happy I was able to add my pick Taking Care of Business which is a bit cheesy but bit a childhood favourite, also Gates McFadden and John DeLancie are in it, and I think that would be a fun pick for all us TNG lovers

Kristen

Hi, did you have any luck with selecting your movie picks at the request site? Clearing your cache on the PC might fix it. https://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Cache-and-Cookies

Jason Scade

I'll let the developer know!

Jen M

Has anyone been having troubles adding their picks on the website this month? Every single thing I type in says not released with a little x and I cannot add anything.

Kristen

Just watch the “Seven Samurai”(1954) because the Magnificent Seven is a remake of this masterpiece. While the Magnificent Seven is a great film and is worth watching, it can’t hold a candle to the “Seven Samurai”.

MrDannySteele

I love Yul Brynner. You could say I'm mad about him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1D2YzUn2ZW8

Happy Hanukkah

For reasons that will become obvious after watching both Magnificent 7 AND Westworld (in that order). 😉 Any generation discovering Yul Brynner for the first time should also check out “The King & I”, his most iconic musical role - Yes he was badass enough to sing: https://youtu.be/9u5iHzag120?si=3U0Ba5RiMc6R1x_K

Eric Janssen

What would you like to see?

Jason Scade

@Major. Yes, I'm okay with most of it. For some scenes I need my momma.

Jason Scade

So you'll be watching a Yul Brynner film, and The Great Escape is leading in the current poll (fingers crossed). This leaves me with no choice but to strongly recommend The Magnificent Seven (*1960*).

Happy Hanukkah

Also looking forward to Westworld reactions! Great scf-fi classic aside from the dated special effects. 🙁 Alas, just a victim of it's time. I still cringe a bit when viewing, like I do with another of Crichton's sci-fi films, Runaway (1984). 😳

Major Peril

Good to see TNG back

Jordan Cooper

Agreed.

Jeremy Vickers

S1 of Westworld is good. And a good ending point.

Mastervodo

Getting food poisoning sucks, i hate it.. i hope you feel better soon Jen!

Ciarra Jade

Food poisoning sucks - as if I need to tell anyone that lol. Glad you're getting better. I've never seen any version of Westworld but I want to. It's cool you're starting with the original with Yul Brynner. The Magnificent Seven, which also stars him, is a classic.

Zapp Rowsdower

I'm also looking forward to Jen's reaction to Westworld, I gave her the film as a gift amongst others in the hope that it might come in useful for a possible future reaction, luckily it seems to have.

Adam Davis

I really hope that you're feeling better very soon, Jen. Take care and much love from the U.K. I'm really looking forward to seeing your reaction to Westworld it's an excellent Sci-Fi film and groundbreaking with it.

Adam Davis

Get well soon. Excited for the line-up. Welcome to Westworld. Where nothing can go wrongg

Jason Scade

The original Westworld is the only Westworld. The series was good but that was a show where you needed to know when to dip. We won’t mention futureworld here whatsoever. If we did, it might just bring about Ragnarok. 🥸

Jeremy Vickers

DS9 and TNG -- so goood watching your reactions. Seinfeld is hilarious. Westworld (1973) is a classic. 22 Jump Street essentially as good as the first. Get well.

Clay F

Get well!

To Wa

Hope you feel better, Jen!

Ian Hunter (NewbieInOttawa)

I always look forward to watching the Seinfeld reactions. And I have seen about half of Westworld so this will give me an excuse to watch the whole thing.

thansen

Post can mean during or after and I said sequence to mean a set of scenes So in this case we get outro sequence during credits, scrolling credits then a short scene after all credits

mikethemotormouth

Technically that's the same thing lol

Mark McKeown

I've not seen the Westworld movie, but the TV series was brilliant so I'm sure it's as good (minus the modern effects)

Mark McKeown

Wow, it has been around two months since I have actually watched any of Jen’s content. I just have not seen anything of any significance interest to me. I am hoping to break that next week.

MrDannySteele

westworld wow not seen that in years . classic 70s si fi

john reed

22 Jump Street has a post-credits sequence AND an after credits scene

mikethemotormouth

The new TNG/DS9 combo graphic slaps.

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

Babel is a fun episode, and Ship in a Bottle is great TNG episode. I'll pass on the other stuff this week since it's not my cup of tea, but rock on, Jen the Millenial.

Michael Tuffin

Oh no! Hope it wasn’t from a restaurant you really like. That makes you think twice about going back. Feel better.

Geoff S.

Two great Treks!

Ryan Fisher

Woohoo 22 Jump street. The first time one of my movies is picked 🔥
