The character of George Costanza is based on Larry David, Seinfeld’s co-creator, who you’d also know from “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and Bernie Sanders on Saturday Night Live. Larry David was in such a contest with his real-life friends, and he won. Best episode ever along with “The Puffy Shirt” P.S. are those new glasses?
