I had an idea for a followup to the episode that takes place a couple decades later on another Trek show where Clara is all grown up and an officer on a Starfleet science vessel which revisits the nebula for further study. The red ball of light appears on the bridge before Clara and crew and morphs into young Isabella. Clara smiles and says, "Hello, old friend". Isabella smiles back, looks surprised and says, "You've grown", and morphs again into an adult version of Isabella. There's more to the story, but I've rambled on enough.

Trekkies have done the math using technical manuals with info about stuff like crew complement and the precise size of the ship itβs like a space conference center/luxury resort compared to other Starfleet ships with its roominess.
