We are getting so much rain here it's crazy! I feel like it should be snow, but I'm sure that will come soon enough! Anyone have snow yet?
I got a new car this week! Well-- it's a used car, but new to me! I have been driving around in what my mom says is an "embarrassing car" -- the back bumper flew off in that blizzard a couple years ago, and... I may or may not have duct taped my hood down when the latch broke and it kept flying up while I was driving. For the record, my Dad said "that's exactly what I would've done" π A couple weeks ago the check engine light came on and I thought "ok, it's time" ππ

Glad you got a new car! Having the hood fly up while you're driving is crazy! Me and my cousin had that happen once while on the highway, scary. We used rope and bungee cords for ours though.

You could/should start on the Movies for TOS though, and get through those and the ST:TNG Movies before deciding on if you are going to go into DS9 or Voyager. Or, maybe take a little break from Star Trek and try some other things. Cough(Arcane).

2024-11-21 08:00:38 +0000 UTCYou don't need to watch TNG and DS9 concurrently, finish TNG and the movies and then devote yourself exclusively to DS9. No snow here in southern Nova Scotia. Where I live we are lucky with snow, last winter I only shoveled twice.

I really would not suggest waiting until after TNG, since they did air concurrently for a little while and there is a little bit of overlap, IIRC. It's only 1 1/2 seasons worth of overlap.

That's the hoops I have to leap through to figure out distance when anyone from the rest of the world mentions centimeters. Worse is that I just treat meters like yards and just ignore the remaining 3 inches or so until we're talking about more than 4 meters then I add a foot. π€¦π½ββοΈ

Glad you're checking out more TOS Trek! I really should do that sometime. I grew up on the original series watching with my mom, but it's been too long since I've last seen any episodes, besides your edited reactions.

I like School of Rock -- watched it many times --especially because I have kids who liked it back in the day before they were grown. Always up for Seinfeld episodes or TOS. I am not as infatuated with Relics as some Trek fans are, but will definitely watch your reaction.

Yes, we've had snow here in the North East of England. I'll be away on the 29th and 30th of November due to a family bereavement, my sister's husband passed away after a long illness.
