Yea they're so well done that i could watch Jen watch them for days.

Timo Turunen

I prefer the extended versions for all three. And love these movies. I will watch all three (extended versions) back-to-back on a random Saturday at least once a year. And just to go completely off subject "That Thing You Do" director's cut is very worth watching-almost an additional extra hour.

Stevtrek

We're all showing our age (haha), what the fook does that have to do with whether a film is good or not?

Joe

I get the sentiment. The original content put Portman's character considerably older, so the tone of the film dances down that line a ways if you let it. Still, it is possible to look at the story, caliber of actors and overall intentions of the movie as a whole as a positive one. More than one reactor (including female reactors) on this movie have commented on being warned of its tone, but upon viewing believe it to be misunderstood.

Mike Fox

I agree with these. Yes the movie shows its age, but early sci fi does that a lot. It's kinda like watching The Net. Ghost is also showing its age in might add. Still a good movie though.

Mike Fox

I agree it is well done, but the movie is decent source material and speaks well to our fear of AI...even 40+ years ago.

Mike Fox

I concur with RtC.

Glenn Galloway

🤪

Jeremy Vickers

Yeah, but you got a smoke to them. The best pipe weed in the Shire.

Jeremy Vickers

The extended version of Fellowship is undebatably better than the theatrical. But the theatrical version of Two Towers & Return of the King are better imo

Respect the Cockerel

Can't see LOTR not winning this you're basically voting for all three movies and they will do brilliantly on YouTube for sure and be great for Jen's channel 👍 therefore I'm more interested in seeing what finishes 2nd a lot of good ones here it's going to be a fun poll

Ian

I voted Godzilla Minus One. Currenty in next to last place. So she will have time to consider the 1954 movie.

Clay F

Those are two very good suggestions. Jen has a movie request site for Patreons and you can add any 2 movies each month. If the movie you want is already there, you can upvote for free. Upvoting is unlimited. Nosertu (1922) is there already. But the '79 Herzog remake has yet to be added. I'd upvote it if someone adds it. Day of the Dead is already there, if you wish to upvote it. I've done so already.👍 Jen has already reacted to Night of the Living Dead. And very recently the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead. The 1978 original is requested somewhat often and was on a recent horror poll. I'm sure it will come back. www.jenmurrayxo.com

I'd like to see you react to Werner Herzog's 1979 Nosferatu remake for Halloween. They did a version in German and English, but they are exactly the same, so check out the English version. Also, would be cool to see you react to George A. Romero's Day of the Dead from 1985 for Hallowe'en. Hi from Canada!

Mike

Agree. Minus One is a big leap from the "guy in a dino suit" days.

Joe Blankenship

In my opinion, watch Godzilla from 1954 first before diving into Godzilla minus One.

Joe M

Voted

Allen Porter

Voted for everything but the Rings movies.

Joe Blankenship

For Westworld I'd prefer the TV series, it is so well done, but that is of course more time commitment!

George Foot

You are going to love Fellowship of the Ring. I'm guessing you'll do the other two right away, they really are amazing films.

Rob

I voted for The Professional, but this is one of those times where the director needed to be made to color inside the lines and the Theatrical is better than the Director's cut.

Brian's Dog

Yes I saw them in theatres. I kind of assume people understand if I watch #1 I'll be watching them all

Jen M

LOL that's not how it works

Jen M

I was age 10 when the movie was released. I remember the movie being a big deal.

Clay F

It's a great early 70s sci-fi

Respect the Cockerel

I'll bite, what should be on the poll?

Respect the Cockerel

Leon seems extra creepy now that I know that Luc Besson started dating his then-girlfriend when she was 15 and got her pregnant at 16.

DrJonasVenture

Yes, do the extended version of LOTR: Fellowship. To really do the extended LOTR justice, you should watch all three (Fellowship, Twin Towers, and Return), but that is a BIG time commitment; you would probably have to spread the reactions over several weeks.

Georgius Agricola

Fab. Voted for all. Frodo ftw.

Jason Scade

It is a bit creaky with its aging over the decades but the concept is still incredible. The influence it had on future films is huge. Terminator, for example.

Jason Scade

OMG! G-1.0 and I can only vote for it once. I love the original Godzilla. I've got at least seven variants from VHS to DVD to Blu-ray to Criterion Release to Japanese releases and US releases. I've watched the original since the 1960s, and I was excited for the new take on Big G. I was not disappointed! I got the Japanese Blu-ray release a couple months ago and have watched it several times, but I must see Jen's reaction (keep tissues nearby). Gojira could then vaporize me and I would die happy! ;-) (WTF! I'm opened on the desk top and my vote is not registering. As Arnold would say, I'll be back.)

Georgius Agricola

Are you for real?

Jason Scade

Some pretty good selections in this one. LOTR Extended seems like it will be the runaway GOAT in this poll. Hats off to the producers for picking the old Westworld movie! Didn't see that one coming.

Major Peril

a lot of people seem to enjoy the Leon pedophile movie.

David Crabtree

Honestly these all suck. Can you just email me or something and I'll tell you what movies to watch?

Mike

It's amazing how media's been so split up that there can be so many major movies and shows I've never even heard of.

Nik

You mention you saw fellowship of the ring in theaters, how about the remainder of the trilogy?

Andrew Skow

LOTR please!!!

Marty McKelvey

I don't like to be negative, too much, but Westworld, the move? The effects. The Acting. So. Bad.

Andrew Skow

LOTR must win! All middle earth is in peril if it doesn’t!

Jerrod Acree

Glad to see that Fellowship is winning. EXTENDED is the best.

Clay F

there all great picks so i voted all of them but i hope for lotr

scott osborne

I hope you get to watch the extended LOTR, Jen. There is so much more to see of the trilogy, and you should get to squeeze every last moment of enjoyment out of that wonderful story.

William

The producers pick is a great one this week. But Lord of the rings sounds good too.

Jeremy Vickers

Vote for ALL you would watch. If several gets lots of votes I will consider watching more than the winner

Jen M

LOTR 100%

Jake McNulty

I voted for Westworld. I live in hope.

Regular Viewer Bunty Hoven

You positively HAVE to do LoTR Extended! I hope it wins. You will LOVE! ...so will we! 😆

Vault Dweller

LÉON!!!
