Three of these were based on Twilight Zone episodes. Nightmare at 20000 Feet was mentioned as the basis of Terror at 5 1/2 Feet. The episode where Bart has evil psychic powers is based on It's a Good Life. And the episode where the Simpsons were being fattened up is based on To Serve Man. The original Twilight Zone is well worth checking out, btw. Thanks for the reaction, these early Simpsons are classics!
