What no one said ever ( from my generation the '60's). "I wouldn't want to be on LSD watching this" LOL!

I'm so glad that you reacted to this, Jen, I'm sure that you'll love this one too.

Adam Davis

I'm so glad you got to see this movie, Jen. I hope it answered at least some of your questions. 👍😊

If it was the same mass then I imagine very little would change. And who's to say the monolith can't transform it into an artificial, ultra-bright, star-like planet?

Kevin Kuenn

I haven’t watched 2010 for years. I think I convinced my self at the time it was better than 2001 because of chief broady 😄. But having just seen your reaction I think it really is and redemption for HAL9000

"If it is an ape I am going to freak out!" 😂😂😂 This movie was better than I thought it would be. The color of your hair against that silvery top is AMAZING!

@Rune, Same, it's been forever for me too, and it's a good quality movie, but you can definitely see that it's a little dated. Just makes you appreciate what a madman Kubrick was. Who could possibly live up to the standard set by 2001?

Mike Miner

It’s been about 25 years since I last watched this movie. I always thought it was underrated, perhaps because it had so much to live up to. I really enjoyed this reaction. 🙂

if jupiter became a star, which it is nowhere near massive enough to do, we would have a bad time on earth.

I was working at a movie theater when this came out. I've got to admit that when we heard HAL's voice once again after so long it sent chills down my spine. I'm glad he was vindicated. Until this sequel came out I had always assumed it was the Monolith that made him go all R.U.R. on the Humans.

It got to be a little terrifying, but what a ending,I want a dolphin house for a 2nd home....
