Checkin out the iconic Seinfeld! Let me know if you want to see more eps, there is no schedule for this show but if you're interested I'd love to check out more! 🍻
NOTE: I've heard there are several versions of these eps, I watched the ones that can be found on Netflix (and Amazon I believe?)

Seinfeld Season 1 Full Length Reaction

Comments

You have a beer. I'll do edibles. Already started.

Jay Perry

My dad told me I could borrow his Seinfeld DVDs if I could find them. Well I found them, the player’s rolling, they’re looking great on my Sony big screen, and I’m settling in for some catchin’ up on a classic. I’ve never binged Seinfeld, only ever caught it when it was on TV, so I’ve seen many but I’ve missed many too. Engage!

Thegonagle

I've always wanted to re-watch Seinfeld, preferably with someone else. I guess that someone is you, now. 😊

Benno Witter

Let's goooo!

Woodoo Visions

Ive been thinking about rewatching Seinfeld for a while. You gave me a reason.

Mike G

On my DVDs, the episodes are in a different order than they are for you... interesting. For me, the Stake Out was episode 3. My episode 2 was your episode 4.

Kevin Bartelen

This was so much fun! Please continue! 😁

dieselbeast

MASH is so great. As I understand it, the cast would rehearse the scenes over and over again until the comedy felt completely natural. Definitely quality stuff!

Mike Minerals

Absolutely. When Curb came out in the early 2000s, I was sure it was going to bomb. Now we all know that Larry David is the genius behind both shows. I have no idea how he does it, but it's so simple and brilliant at the same time.

Mike Minerals

Jen, this was a lot of fun. It's been so long since I've sat down and watched an episode of Seinfeld. These were great, but it only gets better. Hope you do more.

Brandon Williams

It's pretty, pretty, pretty... pretty good. 🏆

Jason Scade

I've literally never heard anybody say anything bad about Seinfeld past Season 1. And even then, I've never heard actual bad things said about Season 1, just that it is quite different from the rest of the show in several ways.

Astraeos

Yeah I would absolutely love to see more of Seinfeld. I think literally nobody has reacted to it, and it's my most favorite show of all time that I've watched over and over and over and over and over for at least the last 20 years. Beyond that, it's hilariously witty, and truly some of the best comedy put forth in the last half century at least. There's a reason it is considered iconic, a milestone, etc. It's that good. Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is mostly guided by Larry David who wrote 85% of everything Seinfeld, is also equally as hilarious but in a different sort of way. Same overall sort humor, but yeah, its hard to explain. It actually took me two tries to get into Curb, but its now also become one of my personal faves, and is also one of the finest bits of comedy put forth over the last 20 years.

Astraeos

I've used cotton balls for a couple of purposes - one of which is cleaning my cat's ears. They have their uses, I guess!

Brandon Williams

This was so fun and such a breath of fresh air! I always wonder why there aren't more Seinfeld reactions, but I think it's just because the show was EVERYWHERE for such a long time. It's really fun to see this through a new generation's eyes, especially considering the cell phone aspect and technology in general. More please!

Mike Minerals

Well that was an awesome end to my day! After finishing work then playing football for 90 mins, was a great way to relax & rest my muscles with Seinfeld and your lovely self Jen 😊. Really great reaction to one of my fav comedies ever. PLEASE continue with Season 2!! The script gets even funnier and characters more zany. And love your singing the theme music 🤭 hehe

James_0033

Watching with you is the first time I've managed to really connect with the show and I hope you continue, it's been much fun.

Dave P

Elaine is so cool. I loved Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Seinfeld and Veep. I watched this series as it aired, and watched tons of Seinfeld reruns. I very much hope you react to season 2. Iconic series, as you noted. Enjoyed your reaction to season 1. Brought back good memories of being a young adult and laughing. The show was a big phenomenon. Part of the culture. An earlier series that had similar impact was M*A*S*H (TV series) (1972-1983) (11 seasons) (currently streaming on Hulu). I watched as a kid. While in college, I watched the final episode (Feb. 28, 1983) as it aired -- drew a then-record audience of 106 million viewers. Watched M*A*S*H reruns for years. There were days when up to 3 cable channels would be running M*A*S*H reruns. It was similar as people today continuously streaming The Office or Friends - we would have MASH reruns playing throughout the day in the background as we went about our day. I was generally always able to get my MASH fix. As you may know, the acronym MASH stands for Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. Set in the Korean War (1950–53), but was arguably somewhat directed to the Vietnam War (1955-1975) in effect. I prefer Seinfeld over MASH. Both excellent.

Awww skinny would have been my guess 🙂 it's a shame we don't get to see the lovely pets very often but always send them our love 🫶 run to the movies have a cat called boo who moves from lap to lap getting petted all up in every reaction 🙂 I watch them from time to time more for boo than anything else 😀

Ian

Skinny is very smart and fatty is very chill

Jen M

"the first few seasons are bad" people seem to be around for every show, and i almost always disagree with them lol

uberelder

I have to know Jen is skinny the smart one or fatty?

Ian

Every episode of Seinfeld is hysterical. Don’t listen to any of that first couple of seasons are bad, crap! This was a very fun change of pace. A great surprise. I really would love to see more Jen picks. Be they series or movies. Polls are great but… I like to see what she wants . That’s the journey. Getting down from my soap box now. lol 🥸

Jeremy Vickers

They were all good, I'd def like to see more, please.

Jason Scade

Wow, only now do I realize that the waitress in episode 3 who got the apartment is the same one in episode 4.

Joe Concepts

Love it!!

Jen M

Sooo many plot lines on this show happen because of "no cell phone!"

Joe Concepts

+1 for continuing the show :) this was awesome. like it's been said, this show gets better by the season. the storys and the plots get more absurd and ridiculous :)

Lean

More Seinfeld would be very welcome indeed.

Andrew Roach

I really enjoyed this reaction. If you are interested, there are a lot of great short little mini docs on youtube, in fact there may be one for each episode, (i think they're each about 5 mins) They were DVD extras way back when that was thing. Usually just funny stories and/or interesting tidbits about each episode. Since I will probably re watch the whole series with you I will almost certainly go back and rewatch those too.

Kane

Bring on season 2!

Saraliese

holy moly, i've never seen someone react to Seinfeld before! please do more!

uberelder

Watch a classic series and listen to you laugh for 22 minutes? I'm in.

Mike Hart

One interested change is George changes subtly after the first season. He starts off as more of a Woody Allen type, but sort of changes in attitude and comes into his own later. Really you could say the same for them all.

Joe Concepts

Amongst all the other weird differences in this pilot I still go back to one thing. Who the hell dressed George like that in the airport scene?

Joe Concepts

Definitely want to watch along season 2

J Allen

one of the funniest sitcoms ever, just as Curb Your Enthusiasm is with Larry David.

Daniel

What a wonderful surprise! I own the entire series on DVD and watch it often. Kramer is by far my favorite character because he doesn't care what anybody thinks and always has such silly ideas. I'll definitely hang out and watch this with you! If you enjoy Jason Alexander as George Costanza you should watch Dunston Checks In from 1996.

Wade Wallenstein

love it. just like every other good show the first few seasons have to get into the groove of things. it doesnt make it bad or unwatchable.

rubberkidney

Yes. The pilot is vastly different than the rest of the series. Jerry's apartment is shockingly different in the pilot. Also, I don't know if you noticed, Jerry's neighbor was Kessler in the pilot, but quickly changed to Kramer for the rest of the series. As the series continues, some of the regular guest cast will change actors.

Jon Hoover

Seinfeld! Probably in my top 3 for TV shows. I'd just keep watching them in order.

Greg S.

I’d LOVE for you to keep reacting to these. Classic!

Timothy Hyden

Please please continue on, can't express how happy this made me feel :-) I had such a s-y day and this surprise lifted me right back up 👍️ Thank you very much

Erik Lundmark

Happy as heckfire you’re doing this. We’ll start watching with intensity starting at season 2.

ChickensAreRacist

One of the best surprises you’ve done, love this show.

Dylan

This is a nice surprise. I love the Seinfeld series. One of my favorite series of all time.

Clay F

You actually did get asked to strip at a job interview? Yikes - glad you got the eff outta there Jen Meanwhile - ahem, yes I AM friends with an ex but it's kind of complicated....

Anthony Peterson

Art Vandelay! 🤓 🤣

Carlos Perez

I was going to say the same. It was a slow burn before the show caught its groove and got popular, so just stick with it. If you're already digging it, then cool, but it will keep getting better, almost until the end.

Richie Cabral

No way! I didn’t know you were going to do Seinfeld. And it DOES get better, much better, if you “get” the show and what it evolves into. More ridiculous, more exaggerated, faster-paced, but funnier too. Hard to explain, recommend you see for yourself.

Thegonagle

Oh you got to see Jerry live, that's awesome Jen!

Anthony Peterson

Lol well I liked the first couple seasons of Star Trek even tho everyone said I wouldnt!

Jen M

Haha the movie titles are great but won't spoil any 😂😂

Carlos Perez

Much like Star Trek the first couple of seasons is rough.

D Jammers

Oh, that's great to hear that you've already watched friends. I always have it playing in the background, it was such an awesome show. My next recommendation is most definitely The Good Place...now thats a unique philosophical comedy with the best unpredictable twists. It was written with the end in mind. Only 4 seasons with 13 episodes, 20 minutes each...but what a show! Stay away from spoilers if you ever decide to watch it. Thanks for responding.

C_Drew

Love this show, please watch more. It just gets better and better

Michael

I've seen it many times! Maybe if there's interest in a rewatch someday

Jen M

Idk Seinfeld except by reputation and random clips. But I *love* Curb Your Enthusiasm (Larry David was a co-creator of Seinfeld). Looking forward to checking out ep 1 with you. :) Fab tee. Ep1 was funny, I liked it. Seems quite similar to Curb, just not as grumpy. Ep2, bouillabaisse is classic French seafood / fish soup. Ep 3, I think I've seen that purple sweater, you mentioned.

Jason Scade

Oh man!! I hope you keep watching these!! There's some many great, hilarious moments!! 🤓

Carlos Perez

I wish you reacted to FRIENDS...best sitcom in my opinion.

C_Drew

Well this was a pleasant surprise 😀

spacious_recroom

Watching these along with you Jen is so much fun 😊 the Boston shirt is wonderful look at his cute face I just wanna pet him all up 🙂
