The interior of Dalton's house is either shot in or is a recreation of the Frank Lloyd Wright Ennis House in Los Angeles.

Great reaction for a wonderful movie. Another movie I believe you will love is "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow ". Similar vibe but larger scale.

This movie is such an underrated, forgotten gem. Great cast, but two people really shine for me. Dalton is so great and seems to have so much fun in this role, he kind of stole the show for me. And young Jennifer Connely is just absolutely stunning. Also, just realized Rom from DS9 is in this movie. 😀 PS: to me the movie they are shooting feels reminiscent and kind of an homage to the 1938 The Adventures of Robin Hood.

Just a small technicality, it’s a Zeppelin not a blimp. But loved your reaction to this movie. I’ve seen it so many times and it never gets boring.

I remember this classic fondly from my childhood, especially since my family and I were/are in aviation.. rough cut looks good/was enjoyable Jen.

If you like dalton you have to watch Flash Gordon. ⚡️🚀

Such a fun adventure, you can see how it's a tonal prototype for the Marvel movies, and director Joe Johnston was hired to direct the first "Captain America" in large part because of how well he evoked the WWII aesthetic and pulpy earnestness in this movie. If you re-watch that any time soon you'll see so many parallels in production design and camera shots. Also, the exterior of the Bulldog Cafe still exists out here in L.A., on the back patio of a bar called Idle Hour. Jennys always welcome!
