This movie was originally scripted with Rocky's Parkinsons, or whatever he had going on, being agitated by the end street fight, and Rocky dying in Adrian's arms, but last second, they decided that Rocky couldn't die. I don't know if they actually shot that scene, but they thought up that new ending scene on the steps, after the fact. Which is true. Nobody wants Rocky to die, including me, but I think it wasn't just that. I grew up on the Rocky and Rambo movies, and I love them, but truth be told, as Stallone got older, and his career slowed down, both of those franchises were always something he could run back and milk some more out of. He even just released a new cut of Rocky 4 a couple years ago. I mean, God bless the guy. I'm not exactly mad at him, but ..
