Marina Sirtis tells at Conventions that the cast was always fooling around between takes, so much that directors started complaining about the lack of discipline. When Majel Barrett was announced to guest star on the show, everybody was like "The boss's wife is coming." It turned out she was the worst of them all. 😅

2023-12-26 15:01:48 +0000 UTCIt's probably been mentioned, but Troi's mom is played by Majel Barrett, who also played the first officer in the original TOS pilot, Nurse Chapel in the rest of TOS, the voice of nearly every computer from TNG on and she was the sometimes wife of creator Gene Roddenberry.
