Home Alone 2 definitely has to be a second runner up winner and a must watch this year. And Jingle All the Way with Arnie, at some point.

Joe M

It's already on my channel

Jen M

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Chuck Drennen

Recently my Christmas movie list has been non traditional, with movies like Mixed Nuts and Friday After Next 😂

Carlos Perez

A Christmas Story (1983) is a must-watch, and the Muppet's Christmas Carol (1992) is a surprisingly good adaptation.

Jesus F Christ

We have seen White Christmas many times!

Jen M

So you are going to watch a Christmas movie with your SISTER Tara and you didn't include in your poll "White Christmas" which has Rosemary Clooney (aunt of George Clooney) and Vera-Ellen playing a pair of sisters who have a "sister act" on stage where they literally sing about being sisters? Missed opportunity there... ;-) It also stars Tasha Yar's grandfather... ;-) I ended up voting for Christmas Story. It literally runs over and over again for 24 hours nonstop on Christmas day here in the US.

Chris Biebel

I voted for Home Alone 2, but Bad Santa, A Christmas Movie, and Jingle All the Way are all great choices.

Paul S

Yaaaay! Tara is Tuning In!

Barry Hammock

A Christmas Story is a great movie!!!! It is mostly filmed in Cleveland(where I live; only about a mile or two from where I live)...and even today the house is used as a museum for the movie))). Plus the downtown area is from Cleveland too...of course many of the stores too longer exist. But it's a very funny movie and reminds you of Christmas as a kid. And second I would choose Home Alone 2.....

Jeff

And Batman Returns

Adam Romero

Here's hoping Die Hard 2 makes it this Christmas season 😂

Carlos Perez

NONE OF THEM?!

rubberkidney

I have never seen Bad Santa, so that might be interesting? I also voted for Nightmare before Xmas, since I like that movie, cause I'm like that.

Ensign Ahkinum

Humbug! (Muppet's Christmas Carol (1992)

Jason Scade

Even if you've seen Alastair Sim, Bill Murray, Kermit and Mr. Magoo, George C. Scott in the '84 "A Christmas Carol" REINVENTS Scrooge. It may not have Gonzo in it, but it's easily one of the two classic versions yet made...The Sim vs. Scott debate yet rages with fans.

Eric Janssen

Seeing Tara again is the best early Christmas present!! 😀

Retro Maven

Of the choices presented for a Christmas movie, I chose Muppet’s Christmas Carol … but only because Edward Scissorhands wasn’t on the list!

David Olden

Muppet Christmas Carol is great (and I'm happy its leading currently) - I just voted for Jingle All The Way because its such a silly fun movie that's endlessly quotable.

Laura Thornley

Better Off Dead, Scrooge (1970), It's A Wonderful Life and Miracle On 34th Street are all great ones. Never could really enjoy any of the ones on this poll

Ben

Put that cookie down! Now!

Paul Deaconu

Been a while since I voted for every single movie on the poll

mikethemotormouth

ERNEST SAVES CHRISTMAS is deeply silly, but it knows it is, and it's a childhood favorite of mine. :) Also, the premise is quite similar to THE SANTA CLAUSE, which came out several years later.

Bryan Tuck

And maybe that could lead to more Muppet stuff. :) (Particularly the original MUPPET MOVIE and THE GREAT MUPPET CAPER, both of which have aged quite gracefully.)

Bryan Tuck

Agreed; some versions of A Christmas Carol feel like they're just going through the motions. But the '84 version really nails the telling of the story, and the actors' performances feel very "lived-in."

Bryan Tuck

YESSSSSSSSSS. Did you ever hear Patrick Stewart's one man play?

Barry Hammock

My sister and I would watch Muppet Christmas Carol when we were little so pulling for that one for a sister collab! 🎄

Adam Romero

I’m not a big fan of Christmas movies but I’m looking forward to seeing Tara again so I’ll make an exception. Please send her our best wishes.

James Hadden

My sister has seen it, it's on her channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vlv8Hq1BSuM

Jen M

The 1984 version of "A Christmas Carol" with George C. Scott is the best version for me. Many of the later versions tried to shove new material into the story (I'm looking at you, Hulu.) I was a litle disapointed with 1999 with the captain.

Christopher Boscarino

100%! And the sequel as well, it actually was shockingly well done and a great fit to the original.

Chief

“Scrooged” with Bill Murray

Bobby Bates

Whatever doesn't get watched with my sister, I may end up watching some on my own 👍

Jen M

Been meaning to ask you about Tara hope she is doing well. Miss her channel!

Lord of the Strings

Seriously, even if it doesn’t win, please do a bonus vid for Christmas Story! That has been my favorite Christmas movie since I was a kid. You will love it!

Eric S

You’re awesome for knowing about that one!

Eric S

Wow a lot of classics in one poll.

Brian's Dog

"Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas" (1977) missing from list

Thomas Yanez

A Christmas Story is the definitive non-ghost related Christmas movie. Absolute heartwarming classic.

PapaXan

Too late but maybe for next year: "A Christmas Carol (TV Movie 1999)" . Staring Jean-Luc Picard! It's my favourite Christmas Carol rendition. The whole thing is on YT.

Thomas Wilkinson

Went for home alone 2 as I watch it every Christmas so why not have the pleasure of watching it with my favourite reactor and her sister 👍 if it wins ofc 😀
