2023-11-05 20:15:21 +0000 UTCI'm in a bittersweet mood. I really enjoyed the reaction, but it always makes me so melancholic seeing people pass away who I watched growing up. I've seen this movie as a teen during its theatrical run and always enjoyed it. A very funny and quirky comedy. I have been looking forward to someone reacting to it for a while, but it just never seemed to get enough attention or recognition. There is a sequel, THE WHOLE TEN YARDS, and it does reunite most of the original cast, but it is not nearly as good as this one. Amanda Peet was really great in this, might be my favorite role of hers. She had some good, mostly supporting roles during the early 2000s in a couple of movies, but could never make a real breakthrough and gradually lost prominence on the big screen. I don't think I've seen her in anything since 2012. She seems to be mostly working in television since 2010. She also had a good supporting role in IDENTITY (2003), a great thriller. I also remember liking A LOT LIKE LOVE (2005), a romcom with Asthon Cutcher.
