🗳️ Weekly Poll #37

Winner of last week's poll was 🏆 Kill Bill!

These are all movies from my HUGE list that I personally would like to see. These polls help me narrow down my own choices from a list of hundreds so thanks for your help!

Movies not chosen may be back on future polls or watched later in schedule. Keep in mind I post 3 movies every week so I try to balance poll choices with what is already on the schedule for the coming week so the result is a nice mix :)

Vote for as many as you like! (This helps me know how much interest there is in each movie)

Event Horizon… fanatically underrated sci-fi horror, and would be such a great counter to bounce off of the optimistic Star Trek vibes for October! “In space, no one can hear you scream”!

Chief

Talking about horror movies then "Tales from the Hood" should be on it and "tales from the crpyt: demon night" too

Antonio

Directed by the great Canadian Director David Cronnenberg

I don't watch scary movies, so not sure what most of these were. I voted for Interview with Vampire because the Vampires are hot and sexy, and Event Horizon because I love Scifi. My two votes are down in the count, but I will cross my fingers and my toes and see what comes out. :)

CHEESEBURGER! 🍔

Carlos Perez

I’m really hoping that The Fly pulls ahead. Great performances, amazing effects, and shot in Canada.

DrJonasVenture

Man, I will never not watch a reaction to Cronenberg’s “The Fly”.

Jeff B.

Nothing there I want to see. I'll keep waiting.

Chuck Drennen

because kids think newer means better, every time.

Jack Burton

How the hell is Blair Witch outpolling Dawn of the Dead? it's bad movie with a mildly creepy last 30 seconds

warcrimes

If you're looking for the penultimate "haunted house" movie, may I recommend the 1973 "The Legend of Hell House." Honourable mention goes to the 2002 American TV miniseries "Rose Red." And of course, 1963's "The Haunting."

Joseph Krider

Ah yes Event Horizon!

RJ MacReady

You're looking at it now.

Anonymous Groucho

The Fly is probably the most underrated sci-fi/horror film of all-time.

Paul Deaconu

Nice to see Misery ahead of the pack. Didn't want us to all be dirty lil' birdies. 🪓

Eric Janssen

Yes we're easing into spooky season.... like getting in a warm bath... of blood muahahahah

Jen M

I only voted for Sleepy Hollow. It's the only movie on this list I liked enough to buy. I only wish Misery were half as good as people say. But a lot of people seem to love it. I liked Caan's performance more than Bates'.

thansen

Some neat stuff here. :) I'd recommend the original Dawn of the Dead from 1978, but it's a bit hard to come by in the streaming world (unless you live in the UK).

Bryan Tuck

can we do a scary movies theme for october?

J M

Not fair...I voted for all but 3 of them. Lol But please Dawn of the Dead! 🙏

ShadowVessel π

All of these are good. I think Sleepy Hollow is really tame compared to the rest.

Vwlss Nvwls

A horror theme this week. Are you feeling brave?

Jason Scade

I hope that one wins so you can see it finally. A great movie with even greater performances.

PapaXan

I voted for all of them!!! except for Misery because I haven’t seen it 🤔

FranciscoGios

2004 is still a fun movie

Mark McKeown

The original Dawn of the Dead was the best "Dead" movie of the bunch.

Jason K

Misery is so effing good. Also, while you do not NEED to see the original Dawn of the Dead from the 70s before watching the new one, it’s definitely still worth watching.

Alan Kingsley

I think Resident Evil should be on there
