The host of the game show was the original host of the game show Family Feud (started hosting it back in 1976). Back in the 1970s and 80s he was a really big name in TV.
Also, he played an English POW in the 1960s sitcom Hogan's Heroes. Funny story about that. He wanted to try a certain "working man's" type of accent but the execs wouldn't let him use it because they said no one in America would understand what he was saying with that accent. The really funny thing about that was that it was right before the Beatles came to America and the accent he wanted to use was the Liverpool accent (which is the one that the Beatles spoke with).

I never noticed that, near the beginning, there's an ad for Cadre Cola where the line "it hits the spot" is mentioned. Now the line at the end makes more sense lmao 🤣
