Bill, such a master at obstructing his own team. He never stops being angry at Molly for telling him stuff "he refuses to listen to." If he doesn't want to hear the same argument over and over maybe it would help to not dismiss it out of hand every time. If it was me I'd write him a note with the most basic questions he needs to ask Lester, i.e. who did he call minutes before the murder and why did he say his car was in the shop when it was in another city? Short and simple so you can show it to him every free minute of every day until it sinks in.

There's a great theory about Bill and the adopted African child that makes so much sense that it must be what the creators intended with that scene. The theory is that the adoption was a scam that Bill fell for. He sent the money over for the plane ticket and never heard from the organization again. Bill in his good-natured naivety, assumes something must have gone wrong. He then encounters a black shoplifter (not many black people in that region) and assumes it must be his lost adopted African child. He hugs him and cries and the shoplifter plays along with what Bill thinks and makes up a story to fit Bill's narrative to avoid being arrested. He probably then got the heck out of there at the first opportunity and went back home to the town Bill found him in.

Oh, I don't know of them. :) Are they as good as Armstrong and Miller?

I just want to say that Bob Odenkirk’s performance as Bill, especially in that last episode with the refugee, was just exceptional. He takes this character, this frustrating guy we’ve been angry at all season for not seeing what Molly sees, and completely humanizes him to the point that you kind of feel bad for being so mad at him. Which I think is Molly’s experience too. He jams her up, but he doesn’t know any better, and then a year later, enough time has passed that she sees the decency in him. He’s really a pretty good guy. And it’s also really smart writing. The show is all about good and evil, and the creators took the time to really elucidate the difference here. Bill is inconveniently bad at his job, they remind us … but he’s not Lester.

What a great performance is this by Martin Freeman? We've seen him go from a guy who is contantly bullied by Sam, his wife and his brother and can't/won't stand up for himself, to a smooth-talking sociopath with a self-assured confidence that says "No one can touch me." The delivery of the new washing machine was interesting. The intaller explains that his old machine was a classic lemon, describing the symptoms exactly. That machine really started this whole thing, and I couldn't help thinking that if it worked properly Lester and Pearl don't have that particular argument and he never kills her. Lester seems to be thinking the same thing, but he's feeling on top of the world and is thankful that the machine (and Malvo) pushed him down this road. Sam Hess is dead (though Lester is only circumstantially at fault for that), Pearl is dead, Vern is dead, his brother is in jail falsely accused of Pearl's murder, his nephew (a special-needs kid) has been traumatized and institutionalized, his life probably ruined. And near as we can tell, Lester is proud of himself. Two more to go! (and season 2 is just as great as this one)

Ok yes actually I've been thinking about that. The lights only started flickering when he grabbed him... why would they do that!? No spoilers lol

The lights flashing when Malvo kills the cop in the bathroom... they're definitely hinting that Malvo is a supernatural force of some kind. Just love the show the more I watch it.

Oh my gosh! I'm over the moon. Press 'play'! 🤩 💜 [Update:] "Lester has grown some balls... but they're evil balls." 😂
