I feel he played out the tough guy image many years ago but if I have to recommend any of his films it’s definitely MIDNIGHT RUN. Also Jen since you have enjoyed the last few M:I films you need to give the first Jack Reacher movie a try with Tom Cruise and it’s directed Christopher Mcquarrie the guy behind the last few M:I films and he helped write and produce Top Gun Maverick.
