There is also a south park episode that parodies "The Menagerie" Episode. When Captain Pike is injured and in a wheelchair. The South Park kid's old teacher is in the same wheelchair and answers yes and no with a light. I think Tray and Matt are Original Star Trek fans.

2023-05-25 02:36:30 +0000 UTCOne thing I never noticed until I read it somewhere was that Scotty in real life lost a finger, I believe during WWII on D-Day, so he always hides his right hand or makes a fist so you can't see his fingers. There is one shot in Star Trek V where you can fully see his hand and his three fingers only.
