Oh thats awesome. A few of my friends at work are sci fi fans. They are the ones who seem to hate it. I didnt know Rotten tomatoes rated it so well. I really loved it, I just started rewatching it since the new season comes out soon

2023-05-23 08:34:29 +0000 UTCIt's good in its own way. IMO, better than Picard & Disco, maybe on the same level as Voyager. It has lots of connective tissue with TOS and, of course, nostalgia - if that's your thing, you'll probably enjoy it. Modern Trek, like many long-standing franchises, is suffering from genre-saturation. The universe may be infinite, but apparently original script-writing is not.

2023-05-22 22:11:07 +0000 UTCReally, I haven't seen anybody talking about hating this show compared to things like "Discovery". Even sites like Rotten Tomatoes give it great ratings, for both audience and critics. And I love the feel of the return to the episodic Star Trek style.
