I am shocked how much I liked this! I got really into it!
I freely admit I don't know my ancient history well at all and I didn't know if this was based at all in fact or not. They also called Xerxes a god at one point and since he was so humongous and there was some other creatures in this I thought he was really supposed to be a god but someone has since told me he was just a King.
Is there a sequel to this?

This was my first watch as well, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. For a few years leading up to this movie I was constantly disappointed by movies people would say were good simply because they had great effects or a lot of graphic violence. So when I saw this movie come out I was sure it would be another one of those disappointments and I have been avoiding it for all these years. But I am glad I finally watched it.

2023-03-17 19:30:09 +0000 UTCLena Headey played a hugely important character throughout the whole of "Game of Thrones". I have always loved everything she has done, but my absolute favorite role of hers was in the movie "Dred" as Ma-Ma. She was so perfectly evil and viscous in that movie.
