It doesn’t matter how bad my day has been, your boundless enthusiasm for these movies is so uplifting, thank you

She reacted it to CE3K (Director's Cut) in April 2022. But, I'm also looking forward to Jen's reaction to Maverick. Should be a fun time.

Well there is Drax, but where is Starlord? But seriously folks... Sadly this was the last film to feature Bernard Lee as M as he died afterwards due to cancer. You must have not seen Steven Spielberg's 1977 classic Close Encounters of the Third Kind as this movie feature's the classic 5 note theme from that movie at three points, can you guess where? Remember, just 5 single notes. Also I still marvel at the stunts in Bond films, especially the high altitude ones. Yes the closeups on the stars are in studio against a green screen (or blue screen because back then blue was used until it was decided blue was too common a color to not be able to use so they switched to green) but the far away shots are real stuntmen really up there. Just look at that cable car sequence shots, wow. The next bunch of Bond films will also feature more jaw dropping stunts by real people really up there. Cartoon CGI is a joke compared to really doing this stuff like they used to do! That is why I admire Tom Cruise and Chris Nolan so much for doing as much as possible practically, I'm not anti-CGI it's just if you can do a shot for real, do it for real. I think Top Gun Maverick would not have been as popular as it was if it was all CGI jets and CGI cockpit shots.
