2023-01-30 05:04:28 +0000 UTCJen, Regarding STAR TREK… I don't know if anyone has brought this up, but there are original episodes and then there are original episodes with updated special effects. Honestly I don't know what other people prefer, but I really do enjoy the updated effects. I think they mesh quite well with the rest of the show. And for a new viewer like yourself, I think they would be preferable, because the older affects *might* take someone out of the show whereas the newer effects likely wouldn't. I also imagine the updated versions could be easier to find streaming wise. 🤷🏼♂️ Regardless of what you decide, it won't make or break the reactions. It's just something that just came to mind.
