GIZMO!!! 🥰🥰🥰 Oh wow he's SO cute! This one was so fun, so wacky + really Christmassy! Still can't believe how dark the girl's story about her dad was-- that was shocking!! What else did this director do? Should I watch Gremlins 2?

Mostly they were animatronic puppets. They call the people who operate the animatronic (usually four to six per animatronic) puppeteers. But big group scense (example movie theater) where mostly old school hand puppets with a couple animatronic thrown in.

2024-07-20 17:13:36 +0000 UTCI'd recommend watching Gremlins 2 and then checking out the Institute For Gremlins 2 Studies, a pretend online school that makes witty and goofy and completely sincere posts about the many things that make it a unique movie, especially for its time, while also mining is depths for academic analyses on every topic (and if you think this movie is highly aware of the media culture it participates in, just wait till you see what they do next).
