Can't believe this trilogy is over, I loved it soooo much!!! I wish there were more to watch!! I thought this movie really wrapped things up very nicely + despite what I've heard from some people I didn't think it was weak at all! Good villains, high stakes, double crossing + I loved seeing Catwoman and learning the cute cop was ROBIN! Really really loved this whole trilogy sooo much!! If Nolan + Bale ever decide to make more sign me up to watch + I hope Alfred, Gordon, Lucius, Robin and Catwoman all return!!
What's next? I'm leaning towards Man of Steel?

2025-07-13 00:51:38 +0000 UTCI think the first is by far the weakest. It's just kind of confusing and all over the place as origin stories often are. We all think we want origin stories but they're actually not that interesting especially when we all already kind of know who Batman is. And the movie just kind of had too many villains and too many sub plots, it just didn't quite know what it wanted to be. Obviously the Dark Knight is the best but I also really enjoy the third, I don't really understand why some say it's the weakest. Yeah, the villain is kind of underwhelming because his motivation is kind of hard to understand and Tom Hardy gives kind of a weird performance but I think the movie still has a strong plot with high stakes and good characters overall, Anne Hathaway is amazing as Cat Woman, so yeah, I enjoy it.

2022-12-15 06:34:10 +0000 UTCYour reaction to Catwoman's betrayal ha ha :D This is actually my favourite of the three, the only one that causes tears to come, and just the messaging of the movie, the powerful themes...this one hits me the hardest of the three films. Anne Hathaway is fantastic, and sadly I can't see Marion Cotillard in anything else now without hating her, all due to her evil portrayal in this film! Great reaction JM
