Finally watched this iconic movie and I'm so glad I did! Loved the music once again by my fav John Williams, he never disappoints. It really gave the whole movie a nostalgic feeling and I know I would've loved this one as a kid!

Thanks for watching with me guys!! 😊

⭐ Special thanks to Producers: MattN, Todd Preble, CBonius, Tyler Gorash, Ed Dunn, Incognito, John Walters, JT, Noby + those who wish to remain uncredited :)

Well that was an enjoyable morning! Sync went like a dream and then it was feet up to enjoy this absolute classic! Cassie watched with Carly so this was a double duo of sisters for both those sad and happy moments. Thoroughly enjoyable as always. I've probably mentioned one of these before, but if not, a possible three for the future would be •Batteries Not Included •Cocoon •Short Circuit

Daryl

I do want to do that but want to start with all the Batmans first! 👍👍

Ya we did the same thing as kids, same movies over and over!

Starman is a good movie, I liked that one. As a little kid when I went to Grandma's house I watched E.T. , Shortciruit, Harry and the Hendersons, and Tuner and hooch, all the time just over and over and over lol. watching this brought back some memories.

Thank you for sharing this! I hadn't seen it or even known about it. With Henry Thomas himself, this felt authentic.

Oh wow I didnt realize those two were in theaters at the same time. Bad luck for The Thing!! I guess if I'd been going to the movies back then I probably would've seen E.T. but I really loved The Thing!!!

Oh my gosh, so heartwarming! 🥰🥰

It so happens that one of your other recent reactions, John Carpenter's The Thing, was in the theaters the same time as E.T., Jen. E.T. was completely dominant at the box office in June 1982 when The Thing was released, so it didn't get a lot of attention. John Carpenter's next project after The Thing was the 1983 horror movie Christine, but then he took on a very un-Carpenterish but well-received movie called Starman, in 1984. Starman was frequently referred to as "Carpenter's E.T." by the movie industry because it had some elements in common with the Spielberg classic.

Just wanted to share this with you, there was a short "sequel" of sorts that came out as a Christmas commercial a few years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52roM4-5GWs

Oh awesome, that will be fun! 👍👍

I've still got Tara's reaction to watch yet. Turns out Cassie is also releasing E.T this week. So the timing couldn't be better! Another multi-sceen watch along! ELL-I-OT! ☝🏻
