Deadpool (2016) Full Length Reaction

🏆Guess the Views Game Winner!🎯

I may be super, but I'm no hero.

This one was SO FUN! I really loved it!! Loved the music, the action, the raunchy humour + Ryan Reynolds was born to play this role! I especially loved how Wade and Vanessa's love story was at the heart of it, you know me! 🥰🥰 Definitely want to check out Deadpool 2, let me know if you guys are interested in a reaction to it! 👍

Also, I need to watch X-Men-- where do I start?

Are you guys up for another round of Guess the Views?

You guys are the best, thanks for being here to watch with me 😊

⭐ Special thanks to Producers: MattN, Todd Preble, CBonius, Tyler Gorash, Ed Dunn, Incognito, John Walters, JT, Noby + those who wish to remain uncredited :)

He's got charisma for days!

I fell in love with Ryan Reynolds before he was ever a big star, when he was in a sitcom called "Two Guys, A Girl, And A Pizza Place" which later changed to "Two Guys, And A Girl". He was great in that show, and it was after that I started seeing him show up in movies, and he never disappointed.

Definitely! You can really tell everyone involved was invested in getting it right too 👍

I am of the opinion that this movie is the perfect movie production. Everything about it is right on mark, for every second of the run time. From the quirky beginning credits, to the Ferris Buelleresque end credit scene. It never lets up, and never treats the audience like idiots. I never get tired of watching this movie, because it is so very well done.

I’m late to the comments … X-Men 1 & 2 give you the needed backstory on the team. I think you can skip all the way to Logan and then to Deadpool 2 from there. The MCU restart for mutants and the X-Men is coming and it will basically wipe away most of the Fox films’ “plot” and if I could have the hours back I spent watching the others, that’d be the best gift ever. Fox did such a bad job managing things after the first two films they ended up soft rebooting their own franchise within the subsequent films. I am more biased having grown up on the X-Men comics but even trying to push that aside, the later X-Films (with the exception of Logan and Deadpool 2) suffer from bad/lazy writing, adaptation, and direction.

Thanks! Definitely watching X-Men soon! 👍👍

I would definitely start with the first X-Men movie. It's really good. The 2nd one is my favorite of the X-Men franchise the 3rd one is still worth a watch because of the casting. I would say start with the first from 2000, and watch them all including the Wolverine spin offs, they referenced all of them in this film.

DM DC

Awesome! I have plans to watch the first X-Men and I'm excited! 👍👍

Jen M

Jen, I'd love to watch the X-Men movies with you. They are different than Marvel films in a good way. They deal with the human condition in a real way. They are outcasts trying to prove to the world they have a right to exist. Logan and Days Of Future Past are 2 of the best films out there in this genre.

Gideon James

I ❤️ 💀💩L I would just start with X-Men 1 from 2000

Gunnar Rea

I had so much fun watching this one!!

Jen M

Hey Jen,  thanks for the early drop on this I really enjoyed watching this with you.

Gideon James

Ohh okay. You were wrapping up. I thought you missed it. My mistake. 🙂👍

Mr. Writhms

Yes I watched the after credit scene! It's there at the end 👍

Jen M

Oh I didn't know there were 2 versions! I'll definitely do a poll and we'll go with majority 👍

Jen M

That's so cool the fans got it made! Love that 👍👍

Loved the reaction! I hope you get to watching Deadpool 2. And the answer is YES, he will join the MCU, being that Disney owns Fox now. Disney says they will continue to make the Deadpool movies rated R, not to spoil things for the fans. We’ll see about that. And about Deadpool breaking the 4th wall… He did that way back in the comic books too. So they kept up the tradition in the movies. Imagine reading a comic book, having the character looking back at you saying something like, “Don’t you have anything better to do than reading this junk? Have you even kissed a girl yet?” LOL Ryan Reynolds played this role perfectly. Oh... and you didn't watch the after-credits scene. 😫

Mr. Writhms

There are two versions of the sequel. Pretty much the same movie in all important aspects. The alternate being called, Once upon a Deadpool. A PG13 version released around Christmas with some other added references. Those of which you'd get a kick out of now. Being that you have already reacted to a film that those are connected to. I'd love to see that one myself when it comes time. But others might feel differently of course.

Daryl

So much to say... We can thank the fans for this one! The studio were not convinced in making this. There had been a previous appearance in the past of a different character who arguably resembled Deadpool a little. But that wasn't recieved well by audiences. They had made some test footage with this style and tone, but then shelved it. It's said that thankfully 'somebody' 😉 leaked it on to the Internet. What ensued after was a fan campaign to have the film made. Seeing the massive fan desire for this character to be brought to the silver screen in this fashion, the project was quickly greenlit. While you did appreciate an overwhelming percentage of this film. You are right in saying that there were some references you wouldn't be able to appreciate having not seen X-Men or the Wolverine films. The Hugh Jackman ones being a minor one. This can probably be said for Deadpool 2 as well. Which of course is equally as good, but does contain spoilers in those references. As far as starting points, the first X-men would probably be best. Further polls could be help to gather further opinion on how many of the films you watch.
