💬 Henceforth you shall be known as... Darth Vader.

What a Saga this has been! Can't believe we are finally able to see Anakin become Vader 😆 I loved the whole journey and can't wait for Rogue One next week!

Thanks for hanging out and watching along with me!

We got more! WE GOT MORE! I know they’re not popular with a lot of people, but there’s some truly great stuff in there and as more shows, books and comics fill in a lot of holes (the same way they did with Clone Wars to make the prequels more full and fulfilling story wise), the series will get more fans and become more appreciated.

Ugh, I might as well

Thanks, I'm excited for The Mandalorian too! 😊

I get what you were saying though. Kenobi is probably the most noble hero in the Star Wars universe. I just like to help new fans expand their understanding of the lore and see things from a different point of view. I'm excited to join you on your journey through the Mandalorian!

Fair enough 👌

I would respectfully disagree about Obi-Wan always making the right decision. He always tried to do the right thing and probably suffered more loss than any other character while never turning to the dark side. He wasn’t perfect though and he definitely botched Anakin’s training. He failed to realize what Qui-Gon did, that Anakin wasn’t like other Jedi and needed to be handled differently. Qui-Gon, like Anakin, often defied the council and rejected the Jedi dogma that basic human emotions and attachments were a bad thing and would always lead down the dark path. He knew what it meant to take Anakin from his mother and knew that he needed a father figure in his life to guide him. Qui-Gon was prepared to fill that role had he not been killed by Maul. That’s why the music that plays during that big lightsaber battle in Episode I is titled “duel of the fates” because it decided the fate of young Anakin. Obi-Wan trained Anakin in Qui-Gons place, but he was always more of a brother to him, instead of the father he needed. Obi-Wan constantly misread Anakin, was often cold towards him and ignored his feelings, like when he was worried about his mother. Even towards the end of the original trilogy Obi-Wan continued to misread Anakin and disagreed with Luke that there was still good left in him. Remember, Obi-Wan wanted Luke to go and kill Vader in Episode VI. Luke was the one who did the right thing and refused to fight, pulling Vader back to the good side and allowing him to fulfill the prophecy of the chosen one. Just as a side note, it’s very interesting that you can trace that line from Qui-Gon’s death in Phantom Menace all the way to Return of the Jedi when Anakin decides to be the father he never had and save his son.

Yes I tend to look for the best in movies or at least something that I can say I enjoyed. I have found Star Wars in particular to have quite a mixed set of opinions, but for myself I have enjoyed all the Star Wars movies I've seen. Some more than others but there's something in all of them and I enjoy the Saga as a whole. Looking forward to seeing more in the Universe! Thanks for watching with me 😊😊

An afternoon with Darth Jen, fabulous as always, totally killin that cosplay. I'm very glad you enjoyed this one. As I am that you did with the previous five. I can be a bit of a negative nelly sometimes with this set. Some of that, I have to admit, can be categorised as somewhat reactionary. With each new set garnering it's own set of vitriol of "where it went all wrong." and "Where it gets better again." I've lost a bit of my passion and enjoyment from hearing bits and pieces that have been said by a few louder voices of very large fan base. Almost all of it hasn't represented a collective balanced consensus. But some of it has had a pretty ugly undertone, that I've found uncomfortable to hear. But not all criticism has that element I should plainly clarify. I just miss the days when people only hated the Ewoks. If you can believe that. What kind of sicko hates Teddy bears. 🤣 "Yub Nub!" Anyway.... Again I continue to give my encouragement to continue. As I know you have already. I look forward to seeing your enjoyment continue. There's plenty to enjoy from all that's remaining and it will fill my heart back up to hear that you liked or even loved ALL of it. "Alaay loo ta nuv!"

Oh ya Palpatine really outsmarted everyone and manipulated Vader. He's an evil genius for sure. Lol I had to channel my inner Dark Side for an episode, I think it does suit me 😆

Jen M

Lol ya I can see that

Jen M

I really loved it!! Looking forward to seeing more Obi-Wan in the TV series eventually 👍

Great reaction! The prequels are definitely flawed, but still highly entertaining... and it's always very tempting to go and watch the originals straight afterward (particularly RoTJ, so we get good-Anakin back). For me, Palpatine is definitely MVP - dude plans this stuff for over 10 years. Starts the war to get power, then ends it to get even more power. Rises from almost nothing to completely corrupt the galactic republic under the very noses of the Jedi who have overseen things for a millenium. Sith naturally outcompete each other - even Anakin was talking about betraying Palpatine to Padme... until Palpatine basically lied to Anakin that he'd killed her. This reduced Vader into a cold, mechanical killing machine who would simply follow orders and never be a threat to Palpatine (until Luke comes along). You just have to hand it to the guy. Also, that black outfit favours you - Darth Jen? :D

That line for me has always seemed to have an implied "I dunno..." in it: "Henceforth, you shall be known as Darth...I dunno, Vader."

Great reaction Jen! Loved watching with you this again! One of the best movie of the saga IMO!!! Obi-Wan absolutely MVP!!! 😊

Carlo Glingani

You know it!

Ed Dunn

Lol you're a good sport

Jen M

I don't usually watch trailers but I really want to see this!!!! 😆

Jen M

"Nobody could have survived that fall!" Well, nobody without plot armor, anyway. Speaking of, did you see they dropped a trailer for the Kenobi series?

Mike Yocom

You're gonna make me watch the full movie for the 3rd time this year..... fine 🙂
