Keanu was as cool, handsome + badass as ever, the action was good, the story was interesting + the ending left me wanting to watch #3 immediately! Plus, no animals got hurt, therefore my soul wasn't crushed lol!
I really wasn't sure where John's story could go after things wrapped up so neatly at the end of #1, but I was very happy to see this new chapter leaves things really wide open for his story and I'm excited to see where it goes from here!
John's really on his own now! REALLY pumped for Chapter 3!

Another chance to pull together a multiple screen reaction. John Wick 1 was the first video I watched of yours on yt. Been storing this one a LONG time now. Then Mary's was added on top as well. Waiting till Cassie joined the party. There's so much killing in these, having to watch it three times, is even more over kill. π€£ Not sure when I'll get to part 3.

Evidently, he was really super efficient, and it's cool to see him go through the training courses in real time without any fancy editing or camera tricks. It gives a whole different level of appreciation for how much work he did to prepare for these movies.

2022-03-31 08:59:30 +0000 UTCGreat call. The way they work the expansion of the universe into the narrative without forced exposition is so sleekly done. Very rarely do you see this kind of care taken with an action movie(s), and it's so flawlessly done. These movies should honestly be incorporated into screenwriting classes on the university level because it really is amazing how absolutely nothing is forced or spoon-fed. Most of the time, it's blended so well into progressing the story forward, you don't even realize you were being given exposition until after the movie is over. Really well-done and kudos to the filmmakers.

2021-12-03 14:44:18 +0000 UTCGreat reaction Jen! I remember when this came out I was really nervous that they would ruin John Wick for me or that it wouldn't live up to the novelty of the first one. But, I was pleasantly surprised at how good this actually was! I really liked how they explored his universe a lot more and filled it out. One of the things really like about John Wick films, which for me separates it from other action films, is the universe he lives in. It's weird(but something I think is pretty cool) how it is completely separate world from ours but even though it exists no one seems to notice it. Even when they fight in public, people will move out of the way but even then they kind of don't notice it's happening and continue on doing what they were doing before the fighting broke out. It's fantastical and I think it gives a cool feel and vibe to that world. Like, it exists but doesn't at the same time. I do hope you watch the next one. It's very fun anddd without spoiling anything there are some really cool dog moments in the third one :)
