Snatch (2000) Full Length Reaction

This movie was so cool! So stylish, fast-paced, really funny, and a dog!

Really liked the editing and the sound in this movie. Wondering if Guy Ritchie movies are all like this?

Thank you to Brett for this great request! Looking forward to more of your picks in future :)

And thanks for watching along with me!

I wrote a long message on tv shows under your first poll, and in it I recommended (ish) "Keen Eddie". I'll repeat that recommendation here because if you like Guy Ritchie, then I'm confident you'll love "Keen Eddie". It was cancelled early which is a major bummer, but the upshot of that is that it's not a massive time commitment; only 13 episodes. A New York cop sent to England to track down drugs that came through the city, stays in England; fish out of water, not necessarily a groundbreaking concept, but just really fun and well-written. Nobody has heard of it, but it's worth watching.

Oh that's cool about Brick Top being pro-animals in real life! His character is the worst! That's cool Brad Pitt wanted to work with Guy Ritchie too-- I will have to see Lock, Stock someday! "Pisstake" LOLLL!

Classic film! Although I'm not British, I was exposed to enough British TV as a kid that I can follow the slang... and even (occasionally) understand what Mickey is saying :D Following on from above - Brad Pitt specifically asked to work with Guy Ritchie after seeing Lock, Stock - so there's an additional recommendation :) Brick Top is a nasty piece of work. His character's treatment of animals is what really marks him down in our minds as irredeemable, even before what he does to Mickey's mother. In reality, the actor is a vegetarian and animal rights activist. Not sure if there's a specific Canadian version, but "are you taking the piss?" is basically synonomous with "are you pulling my leg?" Of course one difference is you can go on to say "he had the piss taken out of him" whereas we don't tend to say "he had his leg pulled". Oh and there's such as thing as a "pisstake". Really that phrase gets a lot of mileage haha!
