Monday Update #21

Good news. I am now completely sure that I will release the first episode this year! The first raw version is actually finished and now the final polish will be applied.

 Everything new:

• I updated the girls sprites to improve performance.
• I finished a few new backgrounds.
• I remade the first 4 scenes, to raise their quality standard to that of the new two scenes.
• That brings the game to 6 finished scenes in episode 1. All fully animated. The picture above is taken from one of those.
• The code for the combat and dungeon exploration is finished and works well.
• All the text is finished but will be reworked in the following week. I always write in several passes, so this doesn't mean it is bad, it is just my workflow.
• I finished and completely implemented the questlog, so you will never feel lost again.
• I also bought a few lewd voice packs and edited the sounds to go well with the game. You won't hear too much of it in the first episode but that will change as the scenes get more "intense".
• I implemented various sounds, ambient tracks and of course the music.

This Monday Update is similar to the last. It felt like I wasn't progressing that fast, but I was wrong. This time preparation took really long, which in turn made assembling everything that much quicker as I could work with much less interruptions.

So the game is almost done but you will have to be patient for a little bit longer. There are still a few UI elements missing, I need to make sure that my spelling isn't completely shit and I might swap a few dialogues around, look for the tone of the story and make it stand out. Just increasing the quality as much as I can.

Apart from that there are obviously the promo graphics I need to make. A Banner for Patreon and F95, new pictures for the Patreon tiers and so on. But that won't take more then a single day. I hope.
