TT2: Firmware Modding Bluray Drives for Redump in the Disc Robot

So after getting the CD Robot working I discovered that the drive I had picked and painstakingly modified to work, still weren't going to cut it. They would crash hard when I tried to rip mixed-mode CDs. So...I decided to rip off the band aid and order some of the drives supported by Redump, that just also happened to be bluray compatible. But even these drives aren't completely straight forward to use. This is a second channel video going over why the drives need to be modded and how to do it.

I find this topic very interesting on a technical level. Good luck with the robot and the drives! Need to read up on redump(er), sounds fascinating what hidden stuff is all on those CDs.
