Video Delay

Hello

I'm making, or I guess made since I'm a little late here, the decision to delay the next video. It's on the subject I show in this preview video that will give you an idea where I'm at with it. In short, the story just isn't complete yet and I need more time to finish the project before it will feel "right". I'm not exactly sure when this will be done, there is still a bunch of work to do on it. It really seemed like it would be a simpler project but the scope kind of blew up in my face as I was working on it. There are two sponsor projects in play now that could be ready at any moment for me to start working on so I might push it back after that as well.

I ran into yet one more delay with it today after find out SATAS optical drives need a LOT of 5 volt power and was having the new drives I was testing brown out the USB hub I was connecting them through. I've got a different solution on the way now but that's another hurdle I need to get over for this now. I'm working on the software integration in the mean time to get it functional. Something I didn't mention in the video about the other units that exist like this is that I'm hoping to be able to support them as well. I know someone with one that uses a more generic command set who can test it.

Anyway, here's hoping it goes smoothly from here, it's a really cool machine and I'm looking forward to getting deeper into the details!
