I was the one who recommended The Kingdom and mentioned Lars von Trier so that's the one. And I agree that some of these are WAY long whereas The Kingdom is much shorter AND inspired by Twin Peaks AND made by an art-house filmmaker.

2025-08-26 05:44:34 +0000 UTCLook...no one but me is going to vote station 11 cause it flew under the radar when it streamed (not with the critics, but the audience). But you should watch it anyways! its only a 10 episode miniseries...that's it! not a huge time commitment. Sopranos is an all timer....but thats a 78 season commitment! :P I love Westworld...but it was supposed to be 5 seasons and they canceld it after 4. :( so its hard to recommend to watch a show that never ends (but hey, you did it anyways with Twin Peaks!) Ditto with Carnivale, except it got cancelled even sooner and not of the quality of the rest of the list. I hope hope hope you mean the original Lars Von Trier The Kingdom...cause that is fantastic and i would love to see a reaction video if you dont do Station 11. Lars Von trier said he did it being inspired from Lynch's Twin Peaks. And not the American TV remake :P
