This video took way more time to put together than I planned and ended up being so much longer than I really wanted it to be. But I tried a different production style with a hybrid of scripted and unscripted portions. I think it may work in the future but this was really clunky to get made.
Now on the actual subject of the video. I'm pretty sure this is the longest project I've been actively pursuing for the channel, and it's finally done. I've been trying to come up with a reason for "why" but the best answer I can come up with is "because I really wanted it" and that's about it. This is about the HP Scanjet 4C scanner. A device I ended up having to get three examples of, 8 different SCSI cards (probably more that I don't remember), test on 5 computers, and much more. Only to have an, unexpected(but actually expected) solution to get it working. I may have ended up making this video more for myself than anyone else. But I'm really glad to be able to share the experience of getting it going with you after so many years.

On a different note, sorry about being so off with the print outs. The setup for it has been a pain and I've been barely getting these videos done on time recently and fighting it to get it working before rendering and uploading always gets pushed to "the next one" when I'm barely getting the videos done in time. I'm going to look for a different (probably vintage) solution that is hopefully more reliable going forward.
PS: Also, wow that Doom multi-monitor video took off more than I would have ever expected. I think giving it some time was a good move.
