Sorry for not having early preview time on this one, I rushed as much as I possibly could to get this done and it was just called complete moments ago and I wanted to get it out at a good time while I still could.
This is the culmination of years of searching, weeks of work, and a lot of effort to have this setup. I was able to get a Philips CM100 which was the first CD drive commercially released, but never able to use or even test it because it used a rare old interface card. Just how rare it was became increasingly apparent over time leading me to one conclusion, I was going to have to make one. This is the story of how I got to that point, and how I was able to to pull it off. And now that it's done, I'm really looking forward to telling the story of the drive itself in the future. For now though, I need a rest because this one was a lot of work.
