Man I was close, but no video this week

The next video is shot but I'm not going to be able to finish the edit for a release this weekend. There just weren't enough hours in this week to get everything done with numerous complications and delays. I'm not going to spoil the video but here's a high level look at what all went down.

The next video will be about getting an 8088 PC "online" through the networking in the office and there were so many more hurdles to that than I anticipated. Running the cables to the 5150 was MUCH more complicated than I thought it would be due to a few circumstances and took a whole day just to get that done. Then both my 5150 and 5160 suddenly decided to stop booting from XT-IDEs leaving me to use my Compaq Portable which meant that I couldn't do CGA capture which I had hyped up at the beginning of the recording session(the Compaq Portable is really weird about when it does and doesn't output external video). Then it took me FAR too long to find out there was a known and fixable incompatibility between XT-IDEs and network cards. Then after all that, none of the three NICs I had would work even with correct drivers loaded. So I had to work on it again during a stream Wednesday which did finally resolve the problem but left me with very little time to get the edit done that night. So I get home and start on the edit....and my A/C dies. I had to shut off my file server I edit off of because it pumps out heat like crazy to help keep temps down since I'm in Arizona. That didn't get resolved for over 24hrs, but during that time I also had rescheduled my Saturday stream to Thursday for many reasons because I was building my new streaming PC. I really thought I was going to get that done in a couple hours, get home to a repaired A/C and knock out the video overnight. Then, putting the new computer together took me 8 hours. To make a long story short, water cooling is hard. So I was completely burnt out by the time I got home.

And now, today. I have things I have to get done that will prevent me from editing and I'm going to be busy this weekend. I have everything shot for the video now, but every possible thing conspired against me to get it done. So I'll have it ready for next week. Second channel ( http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUnxjEcIEOGE-8xyqzAuJuQ ) stream VoDs are scheduled to release over the weekend already so there will be something there, but I know that's not the same as a normal video. Hopefully next week will be far less complicated.
